I bought Lucky Leaf apple pie filling once, but my family did not like it. I would much rather make my own. However, it would be good in my “Pork Chop Pie”, as one of my sons calls it. It is not a pie. I just split a pork loin down the center, put apple pie filling on top and cover with home made stuffing, (you can use Stove Top if you like) and bake it in the oven. So delicious, and since the Lucky Leaf is not very sweet AT ALL, it works better for this recipe.
