Shout out to the awesome ladies (and one gent) who attended my first coupon class!

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

I finally did my first coupon class and I loved it!  I have been wanting to do classes for about a year now, but just never got around to it.  Some friends (shout out to Angela and Amanda!!!) asked if I’d do a class in their home and I said yes!  It was fun, I think it was informative, and it was FUN!  Did I say that already? LOL

I want to thank everyone for coming to the class! I appreciate you letting me practice on you.  I hope you were entertained and I mega hope you learned something! And sorry I got lost in my very own town! LOL

For those of you who attended my class and for all the newbies out there, I want to point out some past posts that might be helpful to you, along with links to helpful info.  And remember, if you ever have questions, any question at all, I’m only an email away! dzines @ metrocast.net.

Subscribe to my blog – One of the best ways to start out is to subscribe to my daily email. That way you never miss a post! You only get one email per day with all the posts from the previous 24 hours.

Follow me on facebook – As handy as my daily email is, you will miss some deals because many coupons run out quick. It’s a good idea to check my blog or facebook posts often so you never miss a thing!

Sign up for SavingStar – SavingStar is a way you can save even more by using your store cards at stores like Shaw’s, Hannaford, CVS, Rite Aid (for the Sanford area, more in other areas). SavingStar is FREE and you will need it as you go on your coupon journey. Learn more about it HERE!

Read the post HERE to see if you have what it takes to be an extreme couponer!

Check out my shopping trips – I often posts pictures of my shopping trips with the coupon breakdowns so you can see how it’s done! It might be confusing at first, but hopefully my shopping trips will encourage you to stick with it. You WILL learn this!

My $12 Challenge – I did something that I never thought was possible. NEVER! But I proved I could do this! I bought $1,170 worth of food for less that $12!  See my $12 challenge HERE.

Coupon Slang – Learn what all those acronyms mean.

Coupon Sites – Get familiar with just some of the coupon sites out there.

Coupon Database – You can search for any coupon in my national coupon database.

Coupon Policies – It’s a good idea to get familiar with your store policies. I also suggest when you are just starting out that you bring a copy of the policy with you.

Hang in there! Do NOT give up! Couponing is a process and it can be sooooo overwhelming.  I was exactly where you are right now.  I was!  I didn’t think it could be done.  I certainly didn’t think I could do it.  But, here I am now… doing it… and helping you to do it too!

Wish I lived in Maine now, I’d have to book a class…I can honestly say I don’t believe I would have stuck with couponing some days had it not been for your site…and your side comments. You kind of kept me going. Now there is no way I would give up.

You are like a dear friend I want to visit several times a day on the blog. I grab my coffee when I get up and check out your blog, and if you have not been on yet, I wait a few hours and check back.

I have learned so much from your postings and you have always been very kind when I have had any questions and always answered them. Other blogs do not want to answer, they want to sell their books or classes only.

I just bet your class was a blast and know they all learned a lot.

Sharon, I think your comment is about the best way I can think of to end my night! Thank you so much for your kind words. I feel the same way about readers like you. It’s YOU who keeps me going! I feel like I have so many friends through my blog. I never dreamed couponing would change my life the way it did. It started out to be all about the coupons, but now it’s so much more. Thank you!

    It sure was fun!

Thanks, Darlene, for the class today. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard while also learning.
