Oops! I meant 2 dozen eggs for $3.00. Where is my brain going. Probably made this mistake because I just got through canning 8- 8oz. jars of apple-lemon marmalade.
I went to Wags today and they let me get the sale stuff that starts tomorrow. I got the eggs (2/$.99) and used the coupon. Still a good deal. I mentioned that there was a sign yesterday over the Lipton decaf tea that mentioned that there were extra points when you bought it. I got home and noticed that I didn’t get any points at all. I mentioned it to the manager and he said that it was probably a sign that had been left there by mistake and they noticed when setting up tomorrow’s sale. He said it was his mistake and gave me 1000 points to make up for it. Got to love my Walgreens manager.
I got eggs at the Wags in Windham today, and they were $1.79 each with the card, not $.99. Oh well!
I went to my Walgreens today, and the eggs were $1.99 a dozen and the manager said that they were not on sale. They are on sale next week 2/$3. She said that maybe your store got too many delivered so they marked them down to move them out.
Anyone else out there try to do this deal and find the eggs for $.99?
That stinks! Sanford has them priced at $1.79 but with the card they are $.99. They are not well advertised. There is not a sign on the actual eggs but high up on the refrigerator door. I’m sure your store must know what they are talking about, but I would have had them scan one just the same.
If you know there is an ad or a recipe AFTER the coupon, put only 1/3 of a sheet of paper into your printer. I save the paper that is left over after printing just 2 coupons for this reason.
Now if I could just figure out a way to do this when there is an ad or recipe BEFORE the coupon.
