I’m back from bringing Skylar home to Memphis. As you may know, I got sick starting Sunday night, her last night in Maine, and had to fly out with what feels very much like the flu. I did not get online at all while in Memphis. Instead, I just rested as much as possible to get ready for my return trip. Now I’m home, but still sick.
My house is very empty, so even though I feel like crap, I will be posting deals as I can to keep from being lonely. I feel so out of the loop. I think I was supposed to go shopping for some stuff at Shaw’s today before the sales end but I can’t remember what for. I don’t even care. I just want to move forward and see what we have coming up for new deals.
So, let’s get back to the business of couponing, okay? I bet there are tons of deals out there! All I plan on doing over the next few days is resting and posting, resting and posting, resting and posting. And I want to stick a New Year’s Giveaway in there at some point, so stick around, will ya?

Welcome Home and wish you felt better. Missed you but so glad you were able to spend time with Skylar. I did my last shopping trip yesterday until after Christmas. I will need a few last minute items like milk and eggnog but will send the hubby out for that.
Have my shopping done and only 2 more gifts to wrap…cookie baking is now finished and in the freezer, always bake cookies ahead and freeze…they thaw in a very short time. Making my cheeseballs tomorrow and an apple pie and pumpkin pie and cheesecake on Sunday.
Then all I have left is to wait for Santa…LOL

Please get better soon, I missed you. There are coupons for Kraft block and pre-cut cheeses out there, and Shaw’s has a sale this week. Buy 6 Kraft products from a list that is posted all over the store to get $4 off instantly. There are also Planters peanut coupons which are part of the deal. I bought 4 bricks of Kraft Cracker Barrel Cheese, 2 packs of the precut and 2 jars of unsalted Planters peanuts.
Kraft cheeses-2/$5 = $15
Planters peanuts-$2.99 each= $5.98
Total $20.98-$4 instant savings= $16.98
I then used 6-$1off coupons. Total $10.98 or $1.37 each.
Awesome deal! I have to get back with the program! LOL
