UPDATE: Dear followers, when I spotted the Shaw’s bogo sale on the Tai Pei, I ran over to the Tai Pei website to see what qualified as being a “dinner” because the shaw’s flyer says dinner and the coupon says single serve. I see they have appetizers, entrees, and stir fry creations. I assumed the single serve entrees were the dinners, but now I don’t know if those entrees are 24 oz. So, I don’t know if we can do this deal. I want to cry. And I’m signing off and will not be back until Thrusday because I need to rest my brain. I hope you all forgive me if this ends up being a bad deal :O(

I went today to do this deal. I got assorted packages from 7.9oz. to 14oz. None of them rang up bogo free. I questioned it, and the manager went to check it out. She said it was only a couple of varieties and that they didn’t even look like the representation in the flyer. She gave me the deal anyway because even she was confused by the picture in the flyer.
She said that the only one she could find that was labeled as being part of the deal was some eggrolls and they weren’t even the ones in the cute little take out box.
Darlene, please don’t feel like this is your fault! Whoever designs the Shaw’s flyer needs to make things easier for us to figure out. It is just poor planning on the designer’s part. You do a great job and we are all very lucky to have you. Thank you for all that you do.
I did use the b1g1 on the Tai Pei frozen dinners. I didn’y have any troubles with them. The guy just scanned along with my other coupons with questions. Did anyone have difficulty using these?

I found this deal myself and had already added those coupons to my list. I will try it and see how it goes. Please don’t feel you have to apologize if you make a mistake. It is also up to us fellow couponers to help each other. We do our best and if the store doesn’t want to honor the coupons so be it. I personally think this deal should work. I want to let everyone know that I’m not sure the Single Serve is part of the sale, and the coupon is for Single Serve. Ugh! I a not sure if this deal will work. But if they do fit the size stated on the flyer, when you have a b1g1 free sale and a b1g1 free coupon, they cancel each other out and yes, you get both for free! It happens at shaw’s a lot. I will find out for sure about the tai pei deal later today, but I will not be back with an answer until Thurday. I’m taking the rest of this day off.

A bunch of us, just getting into couponing are confused. Are we purchasing 4 items and getting 4 additional free? How does the buy one get one free coupon help if the item is buy one get one free on Friday??? HELP some clueless newbies
