This is what I got at Shaw’s today (1/4). I can’t possibly break it all down because I’m beat. I think most of you know the deals. If not, ask me and I’ll direct you to the posts that will help you out.
I will give you some details.
All sale prices had to be changed manually in Sanford, no matter how high your total is. They told me that before I even got to the register. All bonus coupons had to be entered manually too. They are hoping this gets fixed soon. Be sure you know what your final total is supposed to be.
The Stretch Island Fruit Chews (in Sanford) are in aisle 4 sort of near the “candy” sign on the bottom shelf. As expected, the coupons only double up to the regular price of $.69.
I got that Earthbound Farm lettuce in reduced and I did not see any more in the store.
These are the items I got for the bonus coupons:

WH honey, $3.19, $.19 after email coupon and bonus coupon (let me use both)
CC spinach dip in reduced deli, $.49 after $1.00 stickie and bonus coupon

My final out of pocket is $16.30
$12.35 of my trip was for the toilet paper including tax
That means I only paid $3.95 for everything else!
Oh, I also got 3 catalina to use next time with NO minimum purchase!
$1.50 off any granola bar
$1.50 off any laundry detergent
$1.00 off any Great Deal item (that one is for 1/18-1/24)
Boo hoo! I forgot to use my $5.00 off Shaw’s Recyclebank coupon! I have never used one because it says minimum $50 after coupons, but so many of you say they scan it first. I wanted so much to try it! I honestly think they will reimburse me for it if I bring in the coupon and my receipt. Man, that would be like getting one of the packs of toilet paper for around a buck!

Hey Darlene, I use my recyclebank coupons all the time and they do scan it first before coupons at Shaws in Sanford.
I didn’t find any problems with my Waterville shopping trip. Hearing all these things about the sales not ringing up I might check my receipt to see if they scanned in the right way. I had great savings (71%) today with my oop being $26.00. Darlene, I also made the time to find some of the BONUS coupon deals and got free carrots and $.49 Tylenol. I was stoked! Thank you for the encouragement to do so! I appreciate all the work you do and am grateful that there are others out there willing to do such great things! Keep up the amazing work.

I wasn’t as successful, but still save a lot of money. Shaw’s in Waterville did not have any simplait yogert. I may check again this weekend. I looked for the stretch island fruit chews but couldn’t find them. In what section of the store are they located?

You can get a rain check on the simplait. In my store the fruit chews were in the organic section and they were in boxes on the bottom shelf. Had someone not told me, I would have never found them.
Oh, I just saw that you wrote that they let you use both coupons for the WH Honey. I’m surprised!
Don’t be surprise. With all the problems they were having today I think they were more than happy to do it! LOL Someone posted that their Shaw’s let them do it too.
When you bought the Wild Harvest honey, did you use both the weekly coupon and the deals coupon? I wouldn’t think so because they are both store coupons, so you couldn’t stack them. Just wondering because I saw a coupon for it in the weekly coupons, too!
I used the 4 bonus coupons today in biddeford (purchased 2 cheerios,2 paper towels and clementines)and realized the coupon says save “on any products” yes, with an “S” so I picked for example my EE 2 1.00 croutons making them .25 each and also used the CC coup on 2 dry pastas etc.. I thought at first you had to find a product over the coupon amount but the way i read it its products over the coupon amount. Just thought someone might like to know it worked.
I noticed that too but then in the fine print it says item, not plural so I was afraid the coupon would adjust down to the price of one item. But, since they were entering them manually, it would have worked! Where did you find CC pasta? With pasta or the organic section?
With pasta there are some fancier types, hollow spaghetti and different curly ones thought the kids would think they were fun but would never pay full price for them! Think they were 1.89 so .89 not bad for something new and different.
They didn’t give me the buy 4, pay $1.88 on granola bars and cereal. I will be returning for credit. I got a $3 off produce from the catalina machine!
Absolutely go get your credit! So many Shaw’s are screwing up!!! Makes me very sad.
I too visited the North Windham Shaws today prepared to get some great deals. Cheerios, Special K’s, Chex Mix,Express salad, some yogurt, and the bonus coupon deals went fine; all living up to expectations. Sad that they were out of Simplait yogurt and that they reduce my Stretch Island Fruit Chews coupons to the 69 cent price. Even with buying a few none sale items, I still walked away with a 66 % savings. I can live with that very nicely. Thanks Darlene.
You did great! And you can get a rain check on the Simplait! And always ask the grocery manager to scan the tag to see if they have any in stock. I had 2 dairy workers tell me they didn’t have any more simplait but the grocery manager scanned and said yes and brought out several cases!
I, too, just got back from the North Windham Shaw’s. I was told only one bonus coupon per day, even though I had 15 Great deal items. Went to the service desk after checking out, and was told the coupon clearly states one coup per transaction. I tried to explain that the bonus coups were 3 different item coupons. No go. I can’t get upset over $3.50-but even the associates don’t know how to do it. The final reason they gave was “no one expected someone to use all 3 coupons in one day” Huh?
Kathy, I sent you a copy of that Dan said on facebook. For anyone else having this problem, go to Shaw’s facebook page and look at the comments on the right side of their page. Dan answered the question and YES we can use all 4 bonus coupons in one transaction with just (5) of the qualifying items.
They wouldn’t let me use all 4 great deal coups at once?? I had 11 of those items so that’s why only 2 coups. This was at the Dover, NH Shaws. I’d it different at different stores??? What’s the real deal? Thanks for your help with figuring this out. It all made sense after seeing your list. :0)
Please go to Shaw’s facebook page and look at the comments. You CAN use all (4) bonus coupons in one transaction and you only need to buy (5) qualifying items. I’m so sad that so many Shaw’s are getting this wrong!
I just got home from my Shaw’s in North Windham. They told me that you are required to buy 5 of the Gotta Love Great Deals items for EACH bonus coupon that you use… The she asked me if I was buying 20 items. I looked over the flyer and pointed out to her that it is only possible to buy 10 of those items per day because of the limits in the flyer. (I was buying 9) Then she said, “That’s right, you can only use two of the bonus coupons per day.” I told her that didn’t make any sense and this sale is very confusing, she told me actually the sale is quite straight forward… As I was standing there trying to rein in my 2 kids and trying to decide which of the items I could go without and change my entire shopping trip, she told me that she would just put them all through for me this time, but that it wouldn’t happen again… I still don’t think this makes much sense…
