I keep forgetting to tell you that Sanford Shaw’s was so awesome in helping me get 30 containers of Quaker Oats for the food pantry in Alfred! I want to give them a shout out!
We had a terrific Quaker Oats deal a few weeks back, remember? They were on sale, we had instant savings, and there were insert coupons and printable coupons to go with the sale.
Sanford Shaw’s was out of stock, but they were kind enough to write me a rain check for 40 Quaker Oats (10 for me, 30 for donation) at the price after the instant saving. They ordered 4 cases of oats for me. They let me split my transactions so all coupons doubled.
I ended up paying just $.20 per container! Actually, it subtracted $.15 on each transaction (does funny stuff like that at Shaw’s), so I only paid $7.40 for 40 containers of oats!
Thank you Rob, Denise, Vicki and my cashier. I thank you, and the food pantry thanks you! Your awesome customer service is much appreciated!

Nice job, Darlene. Wish I had thought to do that. I donate what I don’t use to our food pantry, COA or homeless shelter. I try to spread it around.
I love to share our freebies or almost freebies with those in need, too! High 5’s to Sanford Shaws…they are super to work with!
That’s a sweet thing that you are doing for the food pantry, Darlene.
