I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

I did a bit of shopping today!  I hit CVS, Hannaford, Shaw’s and Walmart.  Here’s what I got and how I got it!

CVS

Got (1) Xtra Laundry Detergent at $1.99
Used (1) $1/1 Xtra coupon from the coupon machine
Used (1) $1.00 ExtraBucks
Final price was FREE
I did this exact deal on 2 different CVS cards, so I got 2 for FREE!

Hannaford

Got (4) Ling Ling Potstickers at $2.89 each
Used (4) $3/1 Ling Ling Potstickers (NLA)
Final price was FREE!

Walmart

I got…
(2) Tena at $11.47 each
(4) Rice Dream drink at $1.88 each
(4) Duncan Hines Frosting Creations at $.88 each
I used…
(1) $14/1 Tena (thank you, Mary Lou!)
(1) $7/1 Tena (thank you, Mary Lou!)
(4) $2/1 Dream beverage
(4) $1/1 Duncan Hines Frosting Creations
They usually adjust the $14 Tena coupon down to $11.47 since it says “up to $14” but this time I got the full overage. I also got the overage for the Rice Dream and the Duncan Hines
Final price was $.98

Shaw’s

I got…
(4) Dr. Pepper TEN on sale for $.77 each
(6) Yopa yogurt on sale for $1.00 each
(4) Yoplait Simplait on sale for $.50 each
(8) Kozy Shack pudding (4 are chocolate)
I used…
(4) $.55/1 Dr. Pepper TEN (hang tags, DND)
(6) $.50/1 Yopa coupons (I did 4, then 2 in a separate transaction, so all doubled)
(4) $.40/1 Yoplait (all doubled to $.80)
(4) $.50/1 Kozy Shack chocolate coupons (doubled)
(4) $.75/1 Kozy Shack any flavor (only doubled to $1.00)
This all ended up as negative $.32!
I picked up some items in reduced to bring me to $10 needed to get the soda on sale

Everything above ended up costing me $.66 plus tax and deposit!

Darlene, do you happen to know if you I bought 3 Kozy shack pudding ($3) using 2 @ $0.75/1 MQ if they would double to cover the 3 Kozy shack’s (i.e $1.50*2=$3)? Or would the system only double it to a buck for each one hence only covering 2? Just this morning I was wondering that question so I decided to ask since u purchased some today.

I’m not sure I understand your question. All I know is that if you buy the single Kozy Shack, the coupon is only doubling up to $1.00. If you were to use it on the big Kozy Shack, it would double to $1.50.

My question is there are $0.75/1, $0.50/1 & $1/2 for the kozy shacks puddings. If i were to use the 2 @ $.75/1 (any kozy shack Q)which should equal $3 after doubling (i should be able to pick up 3 @$1 puddings and have 2 coupons cover 3 puddings (because each one would go up to $1.50)………I was asking if the $0.75/1 coupon would only cover up to a buck since that is the actual cost of the item or would i get the additional $0.50 overage from both coupons which would in turn cover a 3rd cup of Kozy ($.50+.50 overage from 2 coupons)…..I guess i will eventually find out when i get my $0.75/1 Q’s and try it on 3 cups to see if they would cover the 3 cups instead of 2. My insert kozy Q’s were $1/2 which i have in abundance but i ordered $0.75/1 (for any kozy) to see if it would cover the cost of 3 puddings using just 2Q’s.

It does not work that way. If you buy 3 cups and use (2) $.75/1 coupons, you will get 2 for free and you will pay for the 3rd one! You need to use one coupon per item to get them all for free. The $1/2 can be thrown in the trash as you will pay $.50 for the puddings with those.

oh ok good to know……….the $1/2 are for any flavor puddings but the ones I have specifically for the chocolate are $1/1 which would make those free. I was referring to the other flavors which I don’t mind paying $.50 each but I’ll use the $0.75/1 first then move on to the $1/2 for other flavors beside chocolate…..I already have tons of chocolate puddings in my refrigerator from the Q that exp on 3/31 and so far I’ve given away about 40 small tubs of chocolate puddings that I got free.
