UPDATE from Darlene: I’m getting lots of emails telling me there are coupons to go with this deal. The coupons that I see out there are for Pretzel Pieces and Pretzel Sandwiches. Shaw’s ad states that the sale is on Pretzels. Pretzels and Pretzel Pieces are two different creatures. I don’t know if the Pretzel Pieces are included in the sale. They might be (fingers crossed) but I’m not sure.

The pieces ARE part of the sale 🙂 I picked mine up the other day with .75/1 coupons i ordered through a clip site.
It breaks down as:
Buy 7 @ $3 each
Use 7 .75/1 (2 transactions)
They double to 1.5
Price at register is 10.50, after SS pay only 5.50 which is .78 each! It’s an AWESOME deal!!!!
Does the $20 limit need to be after all coupons or does it not matter? Ex. Can I buy $21 worth of pretzels, use (3) $1/2 coupons, pay $18 and still get $5 back from SavingStar?
First, the min is $30, not $20. Second, the coupons are for the Pretzel Pieces and/or Pretzel Sandwiches. I’m not sure if those are included in the sale. The Shaw’s flyer states pretzels and shows pretzels, not pieces. If the pieces are included, then you should be able to use coupons and go by the min before coupons, not after. I will update the post to be more clear about pretzels vs pieces.
