Here is how I want you to shop the Classico deal! There is a $3 OYNO catalina that you will get at the register when you buy 4, so you are going to do separate transactions so you can roll that catalina. And the pasta is free since there is a store sale where you get 1 pasta free for every 2 sauce you buy.
Here’s the deal at Shaw’s 8/30 – 9/5
Activate the $5/$15 Classico SavingStar offer (Learn about SavingStar here)
NOTE: Looks like the SavingStar refund might only be triggered if you spend $15 out of pocket (that’s how the goya savingstar one-trip-or-many is working for me) so this scenario guarantees your SavingStar refund as you are spending $15 after all coupons. OYNO catalinas are not counted against savingstar. Must buy 24 oz Classico or larger to trigger the ONYO catalina. Don’t forget to scan your tag every time!

Well dang, I was away on vacation this week and now I can’t find the Classico coupons 🙁
careful doing identical trips immediately back to back. I’ve had issues with getting my catalina on the second transaction in the past.
The catalina should work every time. If not, go to customer service and get a cash refund.
white sauces are not included in the catalina as they do not meet the size requirement. I had scooped up some $1/2 wine tags on ebay a few weeks ago anticipating a good sale.
thank you for the post..looks like after all the coupons and catalina and saving star offer, we r paying 1$ for 12 jars of sauce and 6 boxes of pasta. is it right???
and one more question…is it ok we can do all three transaction at one visit?? will they allow us to do that??
thank you
You are paying $9.00 for 12 jars and 6 pasta then you have one $3.00 catalina leftover. Not sure where you’re getting $1.00. As for 3 transactions, you can always do one then go back in the line if it’s busy. If I do more than one and someone is behind me, I let them have their turn and I go back.
U R RIGHT I AVE TO PAY 9$. BUT I WILL GET 5$ FROM SAVING STAR AND 3$ CANTILINA COUPON. THAT MEANS 5$ COMES BACK TO MY POCKET AND 3$ GOES TO OTHER TRANSACTION. AM I RIGHT???
You know what? Yor are correct that I forgot to deduct for savingstar! I don’t count the final catalina in the bottom line becaue it’s for a future transaction. But I need to update the post. Thanks for catching that!
HI I HAVE ONE MORE QUESTION ABOUT UPROMISE CARD.
CAN I APPLY TWO CARDS ON SAME ADDRESS FOR UPROMISE CARD??
I’m quite sure you can use the same address but you need two separate savingstar accounts.
“ROCKS” Thank you 🙂
I think I may do 3 per transcation and just pass on a couple of free boxes of pasta… this should still be a good deal I think!
Just remember, if you do 3 per transaction, you won’t get the $3 catalina… I think you will get a $2 one. For some reason I can’t print the cat details to see the breakdown.
I didn’t realize this when I first commented 🙂 I thought it was a $3 cat wyb3. So 4 per transaction it will be! lol. Guessing this must be better, even though one jar is not being covered by a $1/3 in each of these transactions now. Thanks for figuring this all out for us!
It ends up being a bit better as you get more than in my first scenario and you end up with $3 to use on something else. I just hope it works for everyone! Hardest part is remembering to scan the tag!!!
Also, I was able to print two coupons from EACH web browser on my same computer…
Nice catch Michael! I was able to print two from each browser (Explorer and Firefox) as well. You just saved me another dollar!
Individual item coupons that I’ve used in-store at the register at Shaw’s specifically have never been deducted from the amount that I’ve spent towards one of these types of SavingStar e-coupons in the past.
Love this!!!!!
Darlene, I was just able to print the $1/3 coupon from the coupon book page/site for the classico it must have reset.
are you sure that Savingstar is going with OOP cost and not pre-coupon cost? i bought four cans of goya beans the other day at Hannaford with the $1/4 low sodium bean coupon, and my total spent shows up as the full price before coupons, not after. the Dole frozen fruit and smoothie shakers savingstar deal that you posted back in March worked the same way, on the price of the item when scanned, not the final price we paid after coupons.
They seem to work different ways at different stores, so we can’t be sure. I did goya at hannaford and it went by my oop, not the purchase price. I figure it’s safe to go with the oop being $15 so everyone is sure to get the discount. Seems even certain shaw’s vary due to the way the registers are set up.
I just printed the coupon, it is still available.
