I just made delish Mac & Cheese using Kraft Fresh Take!

I am so happy with how my Fresh Take mac and cheese turned out that I just had to share!  Too bad I only made enough for one meal and didn’t take a pic before devouring it.  No biggie, as my photography stinks so I’m sure it would not look as good as it tasted…lol.

This is what I did…

I added some cooked pasta to a sauce pan. I happened to use small shells.

I added some of the Fresh Take cheese and some of the bread crumbs.  I happened to use the Chili Lime flavor.

I added a little bit of milk and heated and stirred until the cheese melted and it was hot. You could also add some butter.

That’s it!  Other than burning the roof of my mouth, it was a perfect lunch!

The $.52 Kraft Fresh Take deal ends today at Shaw’s.  The coupon is still available but not reset from when I last posted it.  You can see the deal here!

I was able to pick up 12 Fresh Take during this sale. I tossed them all in the freezer. To save room, take the packets out of their cardboard sleeves. You can mark the flavor on the bag with a sharpie or just leave them blank for a surprise flavor!  If you need the directions, just keep them in a junk drawer or in your pantry.

How long do you bake the mac and cheese for?
    And what temp?
I think I know what I’m having for dinner! 🙂

I did something very similar!!!! I made mac ‘n cheese using the cheese from this, my free prince pasta of course, put it in a casserole, and topped it with the bread crumb mixture, then baked it for baked mac ‘n cheese. SO yummy! I used the bacon cheddar and added a bit of crumbled bacon to the crumbs.

For sure I’ll be trying a baked batch. There is nothing like baked mac & cheese! We couponers are so creative, huh? 🙂
