if coupon doubles, cashier is supposed to let it stick

UPDATE: Reader Patrick said the coupon does not automatically double at Shaw’s. It’s the new code so I could not tell. Looks like you need to go through your furniture to look for some quarters! 😉

the app “double coupon” is a great way to check these coupons ahead of time. that is how i knew this one would not double.
Does it also tell you if it’s coded to double even when it says do not double? I guess what I’m asking is does the app go by the actual code of the coupon or by the wording?
By the code. You scan the actual coupon and it reads the code and says “Yes” or “No” 🙂 For example, the driscoll coupons say “do not double” but using this app it comes up with a “YES”. but this soda coupon says “NO”.
