What I Ate Yesterday – Day 69 – My Last Day of Dairy for a Week!

MY NEW EXPERIMENT – I feel great eating meat (depression kept at bay, off prozac, much less joint pain, no cravings) but one ailment that still hangs on are what I call my “hangovers” which I have always been told are due to lack of sleep because I suffer from sleep apnea.  I don’t use my cpap machine because I hate it.  Also, it never made me feel much better to sleep wearing that thing.

It got me to wondering if maybe dairy is my problem.  I have learned by eating ZC that all we need is meat and water. That’s it!  We add dairy because it is from animals, but many swear that it does not agree with them.  So for one entire week, I’m going to eat just meat and water and see how I feel.  In fact, I’m sipping on a hot cup of water right now.  No cream.  No coffee!  Just water.

Many vets who eat ZC say that as they progressed, they also went to just meat and water because they were just naturally drawn to it.  It’s easy.  It’s complete.  I think I’m ready to go there.  If I could get rid of those non-drinking “hangovers”, I would be in my glory!  I would be unstoppable!  I can’t wait to see how the week works out.  I’m starting today, 1/25, so you will see that I still had dairy yesterday.  I will keep you up to date on how I feel, so please keep watching!


Yesterday – Tuesday 1/24 – Day 69

When I got up, I had my usual cup of coffee with whole milk (today I’m drinking hot water!)

At 1:30pm, I ate from the plate above.  I had the most delish and tender sliced beef, bacon ends, then that stuff on the right side is the ground beef and egg mix that I had leftover from the night before.  This was cooked in butter. (I will be skipping both eggs and butter for the next week)

At 9:30pm, I sliced up more beef cooked in butter and ate a bunch of that.  So good!  That was it for the day.  I was too busy working for anything else.  I did get hungry at 2:45am but decided to skip it and just try to sleep.

Food that entered my mouth yesterday: sliced beef, ground beef, bacon ends, eggs, butter, whole milk, coffee, pepper, lots of water.
