I got a question today about how to get a SavingStar refund now that Shaw’s has done away with their store card so I thought it would be a good time to remind everyone that they need to call to request their tags that they can use at Shaw’s for their SavingStar refunds.
Call this number: 877-932-7948
Tell them you need the Upromise tag (works with SavingStar too)
When your tags come, you need to update the new number in your SavingStar account
You can still have them scan your Shaw’s card until you get your tags.

Shaw’s is accepting competitor’s store coupon through 7/31. You can stack those coupons with a manufacturer coupon to save even more money!
Target just released some new store coupons that you can print and use at Shaw’s! Be sure you search for matching manufacturer coupons in my database to see if you can stack!
IMPORTANT TIP: Not all the coupons on Target’s site are store coupons. Some are manufacturer coupons. When you look at the coupon on the site, if the wording starts with “when you buy” then it’s a manufacturer coupon. If it starts with “with purchase of” or has no verbiage at all, then it’s a Target store coupon!
ANOTHER TIP: You can also search for coupons on Target’s site. So, if find a manny coupon that you want to use at Shaw’s, search Target’s coupons to see if you can find a store coupon to stack with it!

I have a scan that you can check out to see the coupons that are in the current Hannaford Fresh Savings magazine. You can use the store coupons at Shaw’s through 7/31 while they are doing a test run of accepting competitor’s coupons!
NOTE: Store coupons will NOT be doubled at Shaw’s. Also, you can’t print these coupons. You need to go out and get the actual magazine.
ANOTHER NOTE: I have a feeling once Hannaford knows we are using their coupons at Shaw’s, they may start to enforce the $25 minimum purchase to get the magazine. At this point you can usually get it just by asking for it. But please do not just grab it. They still have to be scanned. If you can’t find them, just ask, as they may start to keep them behind the registers now.

IMPORTANT NEWS: From now through 7/31, Shaw’s is doing a test run and will accept Competitor’s Coupons that you can stack with manufacturer’s coupons! You can get info here. I would print what Dan said because some Shaw’s are not yet aware of this new test!

NEWBIE NOTE: Shaw’s will double 4 “like” coupons with a face value of $.99 or less in one transaction ($.99 will double to $1.98). If you have 4 like coupons for one item and 4 like coupons for another item, all will double!
