I just got back from my Sanford Shaw’s with a copy of the promo card for the list of cereals that are included in the GM sale. Both Trix and Kix are included! Neither of those had shelf tags but since they are listed on the promo card, as long as you get the exact size mentioned, you should get the $5 off wyb 10 participating items. If you don’t, run over to customer service and ask for a refund!
I highly suggest you only buy 10 items at a time so if it does not ring up right, it’s easy to check your items to make sure you got all the correct sizes. There are promo cards for the different items in the store. Read them! I only grabbed the card that listed cereal since that’s the one causing all the headaches.
I hope this helps! Feel free to print my scan so you have something to take to the register with you. Maybe you should check the promo card in your own store first just to be sure your store is the same!
Oh, and while I was there, I got 2 free bags of Fresh Express cole slaw using the $1 OFF Fresh Express Shaw’s store coupon! Sanford is loaded with reduced Fresh Express! Loaded, baby, loaded!

I just got an email with a coupon for Tabasco. What I love is there is no size restriction and it’s for any flavor! I priced Tabasco last week at Shaw’s and the small bottles were only $1.57, so only $.57 after the coupon!
NOTE: I’m not positive this link will work for you since I already printed it. I sent the link to myself on my other computer and it worked for me again (but I had to use a different email address) so hopefully it will work for you too!
Here’s the deal at Shaw’s any day:
Buy (1) Tabasco Sauce at $1.57 (reg price)
Use (1) $.50/1 Tabasco Sauce (2 prints per computer, use different email addy)
coupon will double to $1.00 off

I am doing a happy dance! Shaw’s store coupons this week include a $1 OFF Fresh Express! Sanford Shaw’s often has Fresh Express in reduced produce marked down to $.99 (FREE!!!) or $1.25 (CHEAP!!!). I have been craving salad like crazy!
Remember, if you buy the leafy green or red mixes or the tender greens, they can last for a couple of weeks even if reduced! Iceberg mixes don’t last long at all, maybe a couple of days.
And Shaw’s is just coming off a sale on Fresh Express and I notice that when something is or just was on sale, they usually have lots of that item in reduced!
I’ll race you to Shaw’s…!!!

There is a new coupon for $3 OFF any Kiss My Face product (not trial, not lip balm). This is a pdf coupon that you can save to your desktop and print as needed!
I did a quick check on the Kiss My Face locator and see that in my neck of the woods (zip 04073) both Shaw’s and Hannaford carry Kiss My Face. I have a feeling we’ll be able to score some super cheap or even free items with this coupon!

UPDATE: I got one report that Kix and Trix ARE included in one store and another report that they are NOT included in another store. I have no idea what is going on! Check the promo card at your store, not just the shelf tags. If it’s on the card, they need to include it for you.
I’m certainly not going wild for the GM sale because I really don’t need all that much of anything… what am I saying… I NEED NOTHING! However, the trick to saving big time with couponing is to buy when you don’t need it so you never have to pay full price! So, I might do one transaction. If I do, this will be it:
Buy (4) boxes of Kix cereal at $1.99 each
Buy (4) boxes of Trix cereal at $1.99 each
Buy (2) boxes Fruit Snacks at $1.49 each
Use (4) $.75/1 Kix printable (need access to 2 computers)
Use (4) $.60/1 Trix printable or $.60/1 Trix printable
Use (1) $.60/2 BC Fruit Snacks printable
all coupons will double
Pay $6.90 at the register
Get (1) $.75 refund from SavingStar for Kix
Get (1) $.50 refund from SavingStar for Trix
Get (1) $.50 refund from SavingStar for Fruit Snacks
Final price after SavingStar refunds is only $5.15!
If you activated the Kids Yoplait before it was Sold Out (I didn’t.. argh!!!), you could do that instead of the Fruit Snacks and use (1) $.85/1 Yoplait Kids and get (1) $.75 refund from SavingStar and your total including the 8 boxes of cereal would be just $4.40!

Shaw’s will have red and green peppers on sale starting Friday for only $1.49 a pound. That’s an awesome price! But, when something in produce is on sale, if it makes it over to the reduced section… it’s even cheaper!
Lately the peppers have been marked down to $1.29 per pound in reduced which is still too high for me. I like them cheaper! I’m willing to pay up to $.99 per pound, but not a penny more. And that’s only if I’m desperate for peppers. I like them even lower, like when I got them for $.20 per pound! I got all the peppers you see in the pic above for only $.62 total (back in Dec). That’s only $.10 per pepper!
When you find peppers in reduced for a great price, buy them all, cut them into fairly big pieces, boil them for about 2 or 3 minutes then drain well. Freeze them in individual baggies or in one big bag (toss the bag a few times while freezing so they won’t stick together). You will have peppers for sauces, stir-fry, and pizza whenever you need them! Just defrost what you need and cut to size!

There are 2 new coupons hiding over at another zip code for Barilla. These have the Publix logo on them and say “Redeem at Publix” but they are manny Qs and do not say redeem only at Publix so you should be able to use them wherever you use your printed manny Qs. If you have any doubts, it’s a good idea to call and ask your store.
These coupons would work nicely during a sale at a store that doubles coupons! Shaw’s should take these with no problem. I have used coupons at Shaw’s with other store logos on them before.
