There are a bunch of new SavingStar eCoupons for you to activate! You must know by now how I feel about SavingStar… I love it! In the year that I’ve been using SavingStar, it has only gotten better and better. I just wish they would allow more than a one time use. We can always hope!

There is a new Earthbound Farm coupon that just came out today! And like the ones before it, this will print out for ANY Earthbound Farm product! You do not have to buy baby kales!
Shaw’s carries Earthbound Farm brand. Look for the 1 pound bag of carrots. If your cashier allows the coupon to double (says dnd but starts with 5), you can pick them up for FREE or very cheap, depending on the price. My Sanford Shaw’s jumped from $1.29 to $1.59 for a pound or organic carrots, but they currently only have Bunny Luv, not Earthbound Farm :O(

I posted about a “glitch” that happened to another blogger where she was able to score some super cheap Filippo Berio because her store not only had it on sale, but it also rang up as an unadvertised BOGO (see that post here).
I tried it in Sanford last night and it didn’t work for me. It rang up as just the sale price, no BOGO. So, I kept my coupons with the hopes that I can score a better deal at one of the drugstores where I can maybe catch a sale and also pay it down with ExtraBucks or Register Rewards :O)
You might still be able to get the coupon… not sure.

Shaw’s has Powerade on sale this week (ends tomorrow!) for $.88 each, but you must buy 5. If you have access to 2 computers, you can do this deal:
Here’s the deal at Shaw’s through 5/3 if you can get 3 prints:

I just my Tabasco email newsletter with a coupon for $.50 off… and there is no size restrictions!
I have seen the small bottles go on sale at Shaw’s for $1 which makes them FREE after the coupon doubles. I know for a fact, because I got 4 free bottles before!
I hope we can get that sale again before the Q expires. I got an exp date of 6/16 so we have plenty of time for a sale!

I know this is not the best savings on Lunchables, but I often spot them in reduced dairy, so I like to keep a few Lunchable coupons with me at all times :O)

I took a walk around Shaw’s tonight and although there was not much to brag about in the reduced sections, they did have several shopping carts filled with some awesome clearance items at the back of the store.
First, avoid the Matzos. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or if all the cases are as bad as what I picked up, but just don’t bother (read here).

I found what I thought was an excellent deal at Shaw’s in Sanford tonight. They had cases of 5 boxes of Matzos, regularly priced at $15.99, on clearance for $1.25… for the entire case!
I’ve never had Matzos in my life, but I dished out $2.50 for two cases. I figured it was a cracker and I love any kind of cracker so I didn’t want to buy one case only to have to go back to get more, so I bought two at once.
This is indeed a cracker. A huge cracker. Each cracker is the size of the box, about 8 inches square. I would love, love, love these (super crisp)… but they look and taste like a burnt toast! I mean really burnt. Not just a little burnt, but burnt like I can’t get the taste out of my mouth burnt. Burnt like if you scrape a burnt toast and eat just the black stuff that you scrapped off kind of burnt. I’m talking burnt.
Is this normal for Matzos? I would not even want my mother to feed this to the birds and squirrels! I even ate mints after and still can’t get the taste out of my mouth and my tongue feels kind of numb…much like I do.
