Sanford Shaw’s Alert – Some good finds in reduced sections

There were lots of goodies in the reduced sections at the Sanford Shaw’s tonight (Thursday), so if you are going by on Friday morning, stop in and pick up some bargains!

Refrigerated Reduced Produce

They had 4 packages of what they call soup greens, but it’s more than that. You get 2 potatoes, 1 carrot, 1 parsnip, some celery, 1 onion, 1 turnip and some greens. All for $1.25!

They had 5 tubs Marie’s Dip, 15.5oz, 4 buttermilk ranch, 1 creamy dill. All marked down to $1.25 each.

They had 12 bags of various Fresh Express salad mix, all $1.25 each.

You can pick up a half butternut squash for $.75 to $1 each. These are the ones that are clean and ready to cook!

Reduced Deli

They had Santa Barbara 5 layer Dip, $5.99 with $3 off peelie, I think they had 3 of these.

They had 12 tubs of shaved deli meat, 9oz, $4.39 with $2 off peelie.

They had big tubs of Tribe Hummus, 16oz, $4.99 with $3 off peelie.

They had Rondele gourmet spreadable cheese, 8oz, $5.99 with $3 off peelie.

Reduced Grocery

They had at least 50 boxes of Betty Crocker Sweet Potato Casserole mix marked down to $1.25 each. Best by date was 9/12. I see that there is $.50/2 Betty Crocker potato coupon coming in the 3/25 SmartSource that should work with this. You’d get 2 boxes for $.75 each after coupon doubles. These are big boxes!

They had a display of Fiber One cereal marked down to $3.30 per box, which stinks… but they might come down more, so keep checking!

They had Kiss My Face sun products marked down to $3 and $4 each.

And there was lots of other stuff… but not in reduced dairy. That was empty.

** CONFIRMED ** FREE Chex Mix at Shaw’s in Sanford – Maybe your store too

It’s real! It’s real!  The smaller bags of Chex Mix that many have been getting for FREE at Shaw’s finally made their way to Sanford!  What I was told is this is a special buy and it’s hitting stores at different times.  Sanford was just putting them on the shelves tonight while I was there!

I got 10 bags for FREE!  And I did two transactions and got a $1 catalina coupon each time, so I got $2 back!

I also learned that these 5.5 ounce bags will stay priced at $1 until they sell out.  And they will sell out FAST so don’t twiddle your thumbs, get there on Friday!  In Sanford they are on the side of an end cap at the back of the store, close to the chip aisle.

If you have not found them in your Shaw’s yet, keep watching!

Shaw’s posted on their facebook page that if they can get up to 45,000 fans by 9am eastern tomorrow morning, they will be giving us some coupons! Everyone thinks it will be Dollar Doublers!  I think so too!

Possible Goya Rice at Shaw’s for 15 CENTS with Printable Coupon

Okay, this is a s-t-r-e-t-c-h but I think it’s worth mentioning. Last night when I was cuddling up with my iPad (pathetic, I know), I saw a post somewhere by a fan I recognized from my facebook page (might be Stephanie???) about a deal she got at Shaw’s on Goya Rice.

The deal was that she found Goya Rice on sale at Shaw’s for 50% off. She used a coupon and got the rice for only $.15 each.

I have no idea if this is for all Shaw’s (most likely not) and I’m not sure if the sale ends today (most likely does, but maybe not) and I’m not sure which store she shopped at (not Sanford, I don’t think) and I’m not sure which coupon she used (do you see a pattern here?). In other words, I know nothing. Well, I do know this… you don’t stand much of a chance of scoring this deal… LOL

With that said, it’s still a good idea to print these Goya coupons. And next time you hit Shaw’s, just look for the rice to make me happy.  Who knows, you might just score some cheap rice!

You must hurry up and print these Land O Lake butter coupons! For sure, you need to at least print the $.75/1 and hold it for a sale at Shaw’s where the coupon will double to $1.50 off! Usually when the Land O Lake coupons start coming out, the sales follow! There are times we actually get FREE butter! Not sure if we can get free this time around since the $.75 off is for a pound and not the little tubs, but hey, I still think there will be a good deal in there somewhere :O)

If you have a hard time finding these, especially for your second print, try going to coupons.com first and entering zip code 60013 and then come back here and use the links. I’m trying something different. Not sure if it will take you directly to the coupon or not.
