There is good news and bad news about the Bar-S Franks coupon I was so excited about. The good news is that Bar-S Franks are $1.00 at Shaw’s. Bad news is that they are 12 oz, and the coupon is for 16 oz.
All is not lost! The 16 oz are on sale too, but we won’t get them for $.25 like I hoped. Instead we will pay $.75, which is still a good deal!
Or you can do the better deal at Hannaford where the 16 oz are priced at $.99. I’m showing you both deals below.

With all the Shaw’s deals I’ve been posting lately, I think it’s time to show Hannaford some love!
Remember that Hannaford meat coupon I posted way back in July? Well, I have some extras and I’m giving them away!
Three (3) winners will be picked by random number before 3pm on Monday, 10/15. Each winner will get (4) coupons! As long as the comments below are open, you can enter!
Here’s what you need to know about this coupon… It will take $2.00 off any meat as long as the total is at least $5.00. You can use this with a stickie coupon, but your total has to be over $5.00 after the stickie coupon (see my example below). It works at self scan. Expires 10/31.

I paid only $3.27 for 2.25 pounds of ribs!
If you can find meat that is on sale that week and also has a stickie, you can score big time!

My Coupon Hunter has $.75/2 Bar-S Franks coupons in stock that are good through 12/10 (I’m not sure which insert they are from). There is a very good chance that those franks will go on sale for $1.00 at Shaw’s between now and then! If they do, we’ll be able to pick up Bar-S Franks for only $.25 per pack after the coupon doubles!
Get (5) $.75/2 Bar-S Franks Coupons from My Coupon Hunter – You will pay only $.50 for the 5 coupons (there are 5 coupons per lot) plus $.45 postage. Those 5 coupons could possibly get you 10 pounds of franks for $2.50 total! Cross your fingers!
Even if we don’t hit a sale, $.75 off 2 Bar-S Franks will still get us a good deal at Walmart or Hannaford where they are normally priced at $1.00, so all will not be lost! I bet they are cheap at Market Basket too!

Here is a new coupon that you might want to print to score some cheap deals at Walmart or Hannaford! The best thing about this coupon is you can print it from 2 different links, so you can get 4 coupons per computer!
UPDATE: Looks like the coupon from coupons.com is out of prints but you should still be able to print from the other link.
NOTE: I got excited thinking we could hold on to this coupon for a sale at Shaw’s where the coupon will double, but in teeny tiny print is says not subject to doubling, even though it starts with a 5.

Here is another shopping scenario for you that you can try at Hannaford during their Buy & Save catalina deal. Feel free to substitute items, but your total will be different.

TIP: To keep the deals on the cheaper side, you should always try to start with low cost items like tomato sauce (or single can sodas if your store carries those) to build up your catalinas. Do not be afraid to stock up on tomato sauce because you can use it so many ways… on pasta, on pizza, in soups. Also stock up on canned veggies because they last (almost) forever!
For the first transaction, I want you to reach $20 so you can use the $2/$20 coupon.
