I finally priced Truvia at Shaw’s the other night. It’s not on sale, but it’s still a good deal if you use Truvia! I’m not sure if you printed your Zatarain’s coupons yet, but if you didn’t, you still can! If you printed, check your stash. If you have no rice in your stockpile, you can pick some up cheap at Shaw’s. I know I posted before that we can sometimes get this rice free. But if you don’t have a certain item in your stockpile yet, it’s a good idea to pick a few up while they are cheap. Then you can sit back and wait for a better deal to come along! The other reason you might want to buy now is because Shaw’s has the rice on sale through 2/28, so we know we won’t get a better price until next month at the earliest. Depending when you printed, your coupons may be expired by then. Mine expire 2/15! When I walked around Shaw’s the other night, I spotted Odwalla bars on sale for $1.00 and they are on sale through 2/28! And guess what? There is an insert coupon for Odwalla bars that also expires on 2/28. That means you can pick up the bars on the cheap until 2/28! Oh boy! I’m half thrilled about this and half not. The not half is because this is yet another thing that we have to remember to check before we head out to shop! I don’t know if this is old news or not, but I’m just hearing about it for the first time today. And I’m hearing it from many readers! Shaw’s now has some eCoupons that you can load to your Shaw’s card! Go here, and scroll down and you’ll see some. Reports are that this eCoupon deducts in addition to your printable coupons. I’m not sure they intended it that way, but hey, if it works, it works! I tried to load them onto my card but I kept getting an error. I will play with it more later.
