INGREDIENTS:
1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 egg
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
(see my tips below for easy glaze)

See All My Patreon Video Titles!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F. Generously spray an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.

2:  Break up the cookie dough into a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed. Pour into pan.

3:  Bake 22 to 26 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out mostly clean. Remove from oven to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 45 minutes. Cut into bars.

Darlene’s Tips:  For a super easy glaze, add a few drops of lemon juice to 1 cup powdered sugar and stir. Keep adding a few drops of juice at a time until you get the consistancy you want. You can also make this with lime juice or orange juice instead of lemon. Want more flavor?  Add a teaspoon of lemon, lime or orange exctact!

Sneak Peek of the Fabrics I Just Ordered

I asked my supplier for more fabric… because I need more!  He does not have anything new at the moment, but he sent some pics of prints I like.  I’ve had quite a few of these prints recently, but after all the batiks and all the prints that had same prints in many colors, I told him to go ahead and fill some boxes for me because I need variety, even if I’m getting repeats.  I do love many of those prints.

180 yards are on the way!  You can see more of the possible prints below. And yes, there will be an unboxing video when I get them.

I also got another 50 yard bolt of the Unbleached Muslin that I love so much, so that will be available again starting with the flash sale this Friday and will also be back on ebay as soon as I get around to it.

I won’t be carrying the bleached muslin, at least not for now.  I have to buy 50 yard bolts for those and I don’t want to invest again in both. Since the unbleached is my favorite, I ordered only that one. I sold out of the bleached.

Remember, if you want to get in on my Fabric Frenzies and Flash Sales so you can shop with much more variety and at reduced prices, you must become a Patron ($5/mo) or Youtube member ($4.99/mo).  I suggest Patreon since they have a better way to navigate the site.

Below is a list of my Top 10 most viewed videos for the week of 2/24/20 – 3/1/20.  If you have not seen them all, now is a great time to binge watch!

I’m happy to see that my old Crumb Quilting Adventure series has 2 videos in the Top 10 this week.  Episode 1 is in the Top 3!  Youtube must be showing it some love by putting it in front of more people’s eyes. Do love!

Yup! Youtube is helping me out with the Crumb Quilt series!  You can see the stats below.

  9. Cheesy Mice Rag Quilt Tutorial – Episode 1
  10. Mini Unboxing Fabric Panels plus My To Do List

This is a screen shot of the past 28 days for the Crumb Quilt Episode 1.  You can see there is a big spike in views over the past few days (click images to enlarge).  You can also see that the video earned $87.14 for the past 28 days. That’s good for an old video!

Below is the screen shot for the past 90 days which shows an even more impressive view of the spike.

And it’s obvious that Youtube is putting it out there as a suggested video.  I’m usually almost even with about 45% for Suggested Videos and also for Browse Feature.  But for the past 28 days, I’m at 83% for suggested videos. That’s incredibly high for me!  It’s also going down now, but hey, that’s okay. I love a good spike!

INGREDIENTS:
1 box Betty Crocker white angel food cake mix
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
(see my tips below)

See All My Patreon Video Titles!

DIRECTIONS:

1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 10-inch tube pan with cooking spray.

2: In large bowl, beat dry angel food cake mix and crushed pineapple on low speed 30 seconds.  Beat on medium speed 1 minute. Pour into pan.

3: Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool completely upside down as directed on cake mix box, at least 1 hour. Run knife around edges then turn cooled cake out onto serving plate. Use serrated knife to cut into slices.

Search for stuff you need on Amazon, on  and at !

Darlene’s Tips:  You can make a simple glaze to drizzle over the cake by adding a few drops of water or milk to powdered sugar until you get the consistency that you want. You can tint the glaze with food coloring and you can also add a few drops of pineapple extract or the flavor of your choice.
