Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it! Strawberry Yogurt Loaf Cake Recipe INGREDIENTS: See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos! DIRECTIONS: 1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom only of 9×5-inch loaf pan with baking spray with flour. 2: In large bowl, beat cake mix, yogurt, melted butter and eggs with electric mixer 2 minutes on medium speed until combined. If you want a more pink loaf, add a few drops of red food coloring. Pour into pan. 3: Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Run a spatula around edge of loaf to loosen. Remove from pan to cooling rack. Darlene’s Tips: You can frost with any frosting of your choice. If you are bringing the loaf to a potluck gathering, simply wrap the plain loaf in plastic wrap and bring along some powdered sugar. When you get to your destination, simply sprinkle the top of the loaf with powdered sugar before cutting. Done! Oh, and if you want, try this with a strawberry flavored cake mix. I know white has a different texture, but I’m guessing any cake mix with any flavor of yogurt will work fine! Just think of all the possible flavor combinations!

Peanut Butter Brownie Banana Bread Recipe INGREDIENTS: See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos! DIRECTIONS: 1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. 2: In medium bowl, stir brownie mix, oil, water and eggs. 3: Mash bananas with fork until smooth. Stir into brownie mixture (see tip below). 4: Pour half of the mixture into pan. Spoon half of the peanut butter over top and run a knife through it to swirl peanut butter into brownie batter. Top with remaining batter, and repeat with the remaining peanut butter. 5: Bake about 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes before removing from pan to serve. Darlene’s Tips: You can soften the peanut butter in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds to make it easier to swirl into the batter. You could also add some chopped nuts to the batter if you like or chocolate morsels or peanut butter morsels.
