INGREDIENTS:

1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
4 granola bars of your choice, coarsely chopped
optional: glaze or melted morsels to drizzle on top
(see my tips below)
See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!
DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). In large bowl, beat cake mix, butter and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Stir in chopped granola bars.
2: Drop mixture by the tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
3: Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set and light golden brown around edges. Let cool on cookie sheet 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
4: Optional: drizzle glaze or frosting or melted morsels on top if desired.
Darlene’s Tips: You could maybe ise granola cereal instead of chopped up granola bars. You can also add additional chopped nuts, raisins, chocolate morsels, whatever! Use any cake mix flavor you want. For an easy yet different kind of glaze for decorating, try mixing a little bit of caramel or chocolate syrup with powdered sugar until it’s the right consistency. I have not tried this, so not sure how it comes out. My guess is it will be delish!

Filling
1 2/3 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup cut-up cooked chicken
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
Crust
1 cup Original Bisquick mix
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
(see my tips below)
See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!
DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 400°F. Mix the filling ingredients in a bowl then dump into an ungreased 9-inch glass pie plate.
2: Mix the crust ingredients with a fork until blended. Pour crust on top of the filling.
3: Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Darlene’s Tips: You can use any veggies you want. Great way to use up leftover rotisserie chicken. You could also use canned chicken. You could use cooked ground beef instead of chicken and use condensed cream of mushroom soup. Lots of possible combinations. Want a cheesy pie? Sprinkle the crust with shredded cheese for the last 5 minutes of baking.

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Shape cookie dough into 1 1/4-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.
2: Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on cookie sheets 5 minutes.

Darlene’s Tips: You can stir 2 tablespoons shortening into melted chocolate for easier dipping.
Dress up your truffles by topping with chopped peanuts, shredded coconut, candy sprinkles, whatever you like! INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
2 cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese (8 oz)
3/4 cup milk
1 can (16.3 oz)
2 cups diced deli rotisserie chicken
1 cup diced cooked ham
(see my tips below)
See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!
DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13×9-inch (3-quart) baking dish with cooking spray.
2: Put cream cheese and 1 cup of the shredded cheese in a large microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute, stirring after 30 seconds, until softened and cheese is starting to melt. Add additional 30-second increments as needed.
3: Beat in milk with whisk until mostly smooth. Mixture may still be slightly lumpy.
4: Separate dough into 8 biscuits and cut each into sixths. Gently stir into cream cheese mixture then stir in chicken and ham. Spoon into baking dish.
5: Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining 1 cup cheese. Cover with foil sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until golden brown and biscuits are baked through.
Darlene’s Tips: You can use any canned biscuit, does not have to be the sweet hawaiian variety. You could also add about 1/2 cup of any frozen (thawed) or canned veggie (drained) to the mix. You can use any leftover chicken or even chicken nuggets or cut up tenders. You can use deli ham. If having it cut, ask for 1 inch slices to you can cube it. Or you can just cut up slices. That will work! Actually, you can use any cooked meat you have on hand and any shredded cheese. Experiment with the ingredients!
