Skylar and Kaly Do Slime Challenges

Skylar and Kaly Do Slime Challenges

This is a different kind of video for Skylar because it does not involve me! lol Derrick set up the camera for her and her best friend Kaly and they just did their own thing.

Derrick discovered during the editing that the camera shut off on its own during recording which is why the video ends abruptly and just fades out. Nothing fancy here. No special thumbnail. No direction from memere. Simple editing. It’s the way a kid’s channel should be!

I’m just excited to see Skylar doing something on her own like this. Hopefully this can happen more often when I’m not with her. I will have her for 4 weeks this summer so there will be content with me too, fun stuff… lots of plans. Please sub to her channel so you don’t miss those videos! Thanks!

Chocolate Chip Brownie Cookies Recipe – Only 3 Store Bought Ingredients

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Chocolate Chip Brownie Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

Brownies (homemade or store bought, Little Debbie would work)
1 oz cream cheese, softened
1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: Crumble the brownies (about 1 cup, packed) and stir in cream cheese until mixed well. Roll mixture into 8 balls.

Step 2: Heat oven to 350°F. Line extra-large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.

Step 3:  Cut cookie dough into 16 slices. Flatten slices, and form 2 slices of cookie dough around 1 brownie ball, completely sealing edges of dough and forming into ball. Place on cookie sheet, pressing down slightly. Repeat for remaining cookies, placing at least 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.

Step 4: Bake 17 to 20 minutes or until cookies are golden brown. Cool on cookie sheet 10 minutes; remove to cooling rack to cool completely.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can try this with sugar cookie or peanut butter cookie dough.  Both would be great stuffed with brownies!  Or try using any gooey sweet treat mixed for the center ball. Soft store bought cookies mixed with the cream cheese or even cake or something like twinkies might be awesome!

5 Can Tex-Mex Dump Soup Recipe

Check Out My eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
About 12 ounces cooked chicken, shredded, chopped or cut
1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning mix
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles, undrained
1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, undrained
1 can (15 oz) black beans, undrained
1 can (15 oz) whole kernel sweet corn, undrained
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Dump all ingredients into a pot, heat and serve.

Darlene’s Tips:  Garnish with your favorite taco toppings like sour cream, chopped green onions, shredded cheese, jalapeños or some crushed nacho or tortilla chips. A side of Quick Chicken Cheese Quesadillas would be awesome too (you can skip the chicken and just make cheese quesadillas). Use a deli rotisserie chicken to make this quick and easy. You can use any cooked meat including ground meat or even cut up deli meat… or no meat at all.  This soup could be drained and served as a side dish, hot or cold!

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Kitchen Sink Brownies Recipe

Check Out My New eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 box (18.3 oz) Betty Crocker Brownie Mix (or store brand)
2 eggs
1/2 cup (1 stick) plus 6 tablespoons butter, divided
3 tablespoons water
2/3 cup chocolate morsels (or any flavor)
1/4 cup crushed Oreo cookies (or store knock off)
1/4 cup potato chips, coarsely crushed
1/4 cup mini pretzel twists
8 peanut butter cups, chopped
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8 x 8-inch baking dish with nonstick baking spray.

2: In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, 1/2 cup softened butter and water. Stir until well mixed. Pour batter into prepared pan.

3: Bake for 50-52 minutes, or until the center springs back when touched lightly. Remove and cool completely.

4: In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate chips and 6 tablespoons butter together until melted. Stir until smooth. Spread on cooled brownies.

5: Top with Oreo cookies, potato chips, pretzel twists and peanut butter cups.

6: Place in fridge until chocolate topping sets.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can add anything you want to the topping!  Some ideas: candy corn, caramels, rolo, peppermint patties, kettle corn, grahams, any cereal, whatever! You can also add nuts and some candy morsels to the brownie mix. Have fun with it!
