Peanut Butter and Banana Frozen Yogurt Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
3 frozen ripe bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces
¼ cup creamy peanut butter
¾ cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Add all ingredients to food processor or blender and pulse until smooth and ice cream-y.  Serve immediately or store in covered container and freeze until ready to eat.

Darlene’s Tips:  Peel bananas before freezing and freeze them whole, then cut into chunks while frozen. You can freeze green bananas or very ripe. The more ripe they are, the more banana flavor they give.  You can add chocolate morsels to the frozen yogurt after blending and just mix them in.

Cherry Cobbler Muffins Recipe – Easy Boxed Muffin Mix Hack

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Cherry Cobbler Muffins Recipe

Check Out My New eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 box (12.75 ounce) Betty Crocker Cinnamon Toast Crunch Muffin Mix (see tips below)
2/3 cups milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1 can (21 ounce) cherry pie filling
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Preheat oven to 425°F. In a large bowl, whisk together the muffin mix (setting the streusel packet aside for later), milk, melted butter and eggs until smooth.

2:  Spoon batter into 12 muffin tins lined with cupcake wrappers, about half to 2/3 full.

3:  Scoop 2 tablespoons of cherry pie filling on top of the batter. For best results, use more cherries and less of the sauce.

4:  Sprinkle streusel topping over each cupcake.

5:  Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or just until the edges of the cupcakes are golden brown and the centers are set. Cool before removing from muffin tins and serving.

Darlene’s Tips:  If you can’t find the cinnamon toast crunch muffin mix, you can try using the Cinnamon Streusel Muffin Mix or just use any muffin mix that you want and skip the streusel topping. You can also use various pie filling like apple, blueberry (would be awesome on top of blueberry muffins) or try some pieces of canned fruit like peaches or pineapple!

Cajun Chicken Wings Recipe – Easy Baked Method

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Cajun Chicken Wings Recipe

Check Out My New eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
3 lb chicken wings
2 tablespoons hot sauce
2 tablespoons Cajun or Creole seasoning
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon tomato paste
optional: 1 green onion, thinly sliced, for garnish
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 425°F. Line large rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.

2:  In large bowl, mix hot sauce and Cajun seasoning. Add wings and toss to thoroughly coat. Pour onto baking sheet and arrange in single layer.

3:  Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and juice of wings is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (at least 165°F). Remove baking sheet from oven and turn wings.

4:  In small bowl, mix butter, brown sugar and tomato paste. Brush wings with butter mixture.

5:  Set oven control to broil and broil wings 2 to 4 minutes or until crispy and blackened in spots (see my tips below). Top with green onion if desired.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can bake these wings on a rack to make them more crisp. If you want to skip the broil step, just brush with the butter sauce and continue baking for an additional 4 minutes.

Snickerdoodle Apple Cobbler Recipe

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Snickerdoodle Apple Cobbler Recipe

Check Out My New eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
6 apples washed, peeled and sliced
1 package Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Place sliced apples on the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch pan.

2:  Sprinkle brown sugar over the top of the apples.

3:  Cut the butter into tiny chunks and toss on top of the brown sugar.

4:  Combine the white sugar and 3 tablespoons cinnamon into a bowl.

5:  Break off pieces of the cookie dough and roll into balls.  Roll each ball in the sugar mixture and place on top of the apple mixture. You can add as little or as much of the cookie dough as you like.

6:  Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for about 15 minutes or until cookies are baked. Cool slightly and serve either warm or at room temperature.

Darlene’s Tips:  You could also crumble the cookie dough and toss it into the cinnamon sugar then sprinkle on the apple mix. Might be a quicker and easier step. You could use apple pie spice instead of the cinnamon or even just use sugar and no spice.  Serve with ice cream or whipped topping or pudding or all of those things!  A drizzle of caramel syrup might be good too.
