Honey Mustard Chicken Wings Recipe – Only 4 Ingredients

Honey Mustard Chicken Wings Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

20 chicken wing drumettes and/or tips
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons mustard
3 tablespoons soy sauce
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 375°F.

2:  Arrange chicken wings in single layer in ungreased 12×8-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish.

3:  Combine honey, mustard and soy sauce in a 1-cup microwave-safe measuring cup and mix well. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir until well blended.  Reserve a bit for final basting after chicken is cooked.

4:  Drizzle remaining honey mixture over chicken, brushing as necessary to coat chicken.

5:    Bake 50 to 60 minutes, turning chicken once halfway through baking time. Chicken is done when it’s tender and no longer pink next to bone.

6:  Baste with reserved honey mix and serve.

Darlene’s Tips:  You could swap out the soy sauce for worcestershire sauce for a different flavor or you could totally skip that ingredient. For spicy wings, add some hot sauce to the honey mix!

Copycat Jack Daniel’s Fudge Recipe – Only 3 Ingredients – Easy Melt and Pour Method

Copycat Jack Daniel’s Fudge Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 package (12 oz or 2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 lbs (about 8 cups) confectioner’s sugar
1 cup whiskey Jack Daniel’s whiskey (recipe is for adults only)

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Line a 13x9x2-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Spray lightly with cooking spray and set aside.

2:  Pour confectioner’s sugar in a large bowl. Pour a cup of Jack Daniel’s whiskey over sugar and whisk mixture well.

3:  Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and melt according to package directions, or microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring between each interval, until fully melted.

4:  immediately pour melted chocolate over sugar and whiskey mixture. Stir until all ingredients are blended.

5:  Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread the mixture evenly.  Let the fudge set just until firm, about 30 minutes.

6:  Lift fudge out of dish and cut into squares. Let fudge further set at room temperature for 60 minutes.

Darlene’s Tips:  I bet you could use other liquor, like coffee brandy or amaretto. And flavored schnapps like peppermint or peach might work with white morsels. Experiment! Please note, the alcohol is not cooked off. This recipe is NOT for kids.

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups pitted dates
1 cup dried apple slices
1/2 cup walnut halves
1/2 cup unsalted almonds
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: Place all ingredients in bowl of large food processor fitted with blade attachment.

Step 2: Process 2 to 3 minutes or until evenly processed and mixture just starts to come together into a ball.

Step 3: Press mixture firmly and evenly in parchment-lined 8-inch square pan. Refrigerate 1 hour to set.

Step 4: Turn bars out onto cutting board; cut into 8 large rectangles or 16 smaller squares, and serve.

Step 5: Store leftovers in resealable food-storage plastic bag or resealable storage container in refrigerator.

Darlene’s Tips:  Experiment with different nut combinations or you could use just one kind of nut if you prefer. Want a chocolate covered bar? Dip them in melted chocolate!
