Sunday Chat – My To Do List for Today

It’s Sunday.

What a night I had. I fell asleep around 2am, woke up at 4am, tossed and turned and was filled with miserable thoughts. Finally fell asleep and woke up again at 6am. Tossed and turned until 7:30am then just got up. Could not function. Back to bed and fell asleep around 9am, got up at 10am. Now you know why I wish we were made to just never have to sleep. And no, I don’t need sleeping tips. lol You can’t possibly tell my anything that I have not already tried.

Here is what is on my To Do list for today. I will consider it a success if I get half of this shit done.
Move more fabric frenzy stuff to ebay
Laundry… all of it!!! (I have one load started, two to go)
Cook and freeze mashed potatoes for my mother
Record a patreon update (so much to talk about!)
Write another fucking letter to the IRS (I will update on patreon about this bullshit)
Record a concoction??? (not too hopeful but will try)
Record asmr (more hopeful about that, but I might fall flat)
Sort and package frenzy orders (MUST DO!!! must sort all and package at least half)
Write checks and mail the town property taxes (I have the money, yet the bills have been sitting here for a month)
Order 5 of my mother’s meds (you have no clue how much I hate dealing with this shit, there are always mistakes!!!)

There is more, but I’m realizing it’s unrealistic so I’ll stop there. I think I better just get busy.

When shopping on ebay, always read the descriptions. Some items ship from overseas and can take a few weeks to arrive. Usually the description will state how long shipping might take. Also, for clothing, overseas sizes usually run on the small size so it’s good to order larger by a size or two. Always check the shipping charges. I’m not familiar with these sellers so please do your homework and shop accordingly. Some offer special deals like getting a free item or a percentage off if you buy a certain quantity so be sure you pay attention to that too!

Rocky Road Brownies Recipe

Rocky Road Brownies Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 box (1 lb 2.4 oz) Betty Crocker Original Supreme Premium brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
1 1/3 cups (8 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1 to 1 1/3 cups miniature marshmallows
3/4 cup chopped peanuts

DIRECTIONS:

1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom only of 8-inch or 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box, except stir in 2/3 cup of the chocolate chips. Spread in pan.

2: Bake brownies as directed on box. Immediately after removing from oven, sprinkle with 1 to 1 1/3 cups miniature marshmallows, remaining 2/3 cup chocolate chips and the peanuts. (For softer marshmallows, cover pan with cookie sheet about 2 minutes.) Cool completely, about 2 hours. For 16 brownies, cut into 4 rows by 4 rows with knife dipped in hot water. Store tightly covered

Darlene’s Tips: You can heat cold brownies in the microwave for 10 to 20 seconds then top with ice cream and drizzle your favorite ice cream syrup on top for a rocky road sundae!
