When shopping on ebay, always read the descriptions. Some items ship from overseas and can take a few weeks to arrive. Usually the description will state how long shipping might take. Also, for clothing, overseas sizes usually run on the small size so it’s good to order larger by a size or two. Always check the shipping charges. I’m not familiar with these sellers so please do your homework and shop accordingly. Some offer special deals like getting a free item or a percentage off if you buy a certain quantity so be sure you pay attention to that too!

Cinnamon Roll Cobbler Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 can (29 oz) pear halves in syrup, drained, sliced
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
1 can (12.4 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 375°F. In 2-quart saucepan, mix pears and pie filling. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until mixture boils. Pour into ungreased 11×7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish.
2: Separate dough into 8 rolls; set icing aside. Place rolls, cinnamon side up, over hot fruit mixture.
3: Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until rolls are deep golden brown and fruit is bubbly. Spread icing over hot rolls. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Darlene’s Tips: I’m thinking you could cut the rolls into bite size pieces and place those pieces on the fruit. Easier to serve! And you can pretty much use any flavor pie filling or canned fruit. Experiment with different combinations! Serve warm or cold with ice cream or whipped topping.

It’s Tuesday.
I just got back from walmart. I was up super early because I just could not sleep. I gave up and got up. Since I got my blog posts done early, I decided to head out to walmart and get that shopping trip over with. I will have a video up a bit later. Not sure how much will make the cut. lol The car vlog is pretty much a full on rant today. I always regrt uploading rants. But then, I regret just about everything I upload. lol And rants are usually pretty good for views. Yes, I rant for views. I need a t-shirt saying that.
I need to go out again tomorrow and then yet again on Thursday. My life is going to be a ride to hell for many months, I do believe. It’s not just my health issues causing me to worry, but my never ending house issues too. I think I hate the house issues even more than the health issues. Yes, I know I do.
I just put away a shitload of groceries and I’m mega hot and tired. I wanted to hit marden’s later but that might wait until tomorrow since I need to go out tomorrow and I’ll be heading in that direction anyway. Good, I’ll wait.
Catch my video later to see what I’m bitching about this time. Pretty much the same old, same old. Probably wearing the same shirt too. lol

Easy Apple Bread Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup milk
3 eggs
4 teaspoons apple pie spice ()
2 cups apples (about 2 medium), peeled and shredded
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour bottoms only of two 8×4-inch loaf pans.
2: In large bowl, beat all ingredients except apples with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in apples. Divide batter evenly between pans.
3: Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

Darlene’s Tips: I’m thinking you could totally skip the apple pie spice and use a spice cake mix instead! You could also use a carrot cake mix. When the breads come out of the oven, you can spread a bit of butter on top then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or just sugar if you want (white sugar or brown). And try making this in muffin tins for individual servings!
