(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Line 8-inch square pan with foil, extending foil over 2 opposite sides of pan.

2:  In large bowl, microwave white baking chips on High 2 minutes to 2 minutes 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth. Add frosting, peanut butter and 1/2 cup hazelnut spread until well blended. Stir in nuts if desired.

3:  Spread fudge mixture evenly in pan. Spread remaining 1/4 cup hazelnut spread over fudge; top with sprinkles if desired.

4:  Refrigerate 1 1/2 hours or until firm. Remove foil; cut into 6 rows by 6 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can use chunky peanut butter if you prefer. You could also use chocolate baking chips for more chocolate flavor or you could use peanut butter chips. And you don’t have to spead nutella on the top if you don’t want so you’d only need 1/2 cup of nutella for the recipe. You could spread the top with frosting if you prefer. Experiment!

Thursday Chat – I Might Record a Video Today! Yay!

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

It’s Thursday!

I have no clue how on earth I was able to keep up with recording videos DAILY and to multiple channels for so long! I did that for over two years! Was I superwoman or something?  I must have been.  Now that I have taken a step back from recording, I don’t think I could ever go back to recording daily. I don’t even want to.

I do, however, plan on recording today. I need to run to the post office and I hope to record a car vlog while I’m there. I think sitting in my car is my favorite place to record. And it will actually feel good to get out of the house.

I have been super busy with my Fabric Frenzy which is now pretty much over. I will start getting packages ready for shipping today. I am going to leave my remaining items on ebay for a while. Not sure how long, but there is still time to grab something while it’s there!

I have also started working on the next frenzy which is tentively scheduled for Aug 30 and 31 inside patreon, then to ebay after that.  I am so freaking excited about some of the scrap lots I’m putting together!  If you are a crumb quilter, you are going to love these lots!!!

I really don’t have too much else to say and I’m short on time, so I need to get busy! Expect a video later!

Here’s what I have on the blog and youtube since my last update…

When shopping on ebay, always read the descriptions. Some items ship from overseas and can take a few weeks to arrive. Usually the description will state how long shipping might take. Also, for clothing, overseas sizes usually run on the small size so it’s good to order larger by a size or two. Always check the shipping charges. I’m not familiar with these sellers so please do your homework and shop accordingly. Some offer special deals like getting a free item or a percentage off if you buy a certain quantity so be sure you pay attention to that too!

1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow cake mix
3/4 cup cold butter or margarine, cut into small pieces
1 3/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
4 cups sliced fresh rhubarb
(see my tips below)

See All My Patreon Video Titles

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Reserve 2 tablespoons of the cake mix. In large bowl, cut butter into remaining cake mix, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until crumbly. In bottom of ungreased 13×9-inch pan, pat 2 cups of the mixture. Reserve remaining crumbly mixture for topping. Bake 13 minutes.

2:  In large bowl, beat reserved 2 tablespoons cake mix, the sugar and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Stir in rhubarb. Pour over partially baked crust. Sprinkle remaining crumbly mixture over top.

3:  Bake 45 to 50 minutes longer or until golden brown and center is set. Cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream. Store covered in refrigerator.

Darlene’s Tips:  Serve warm or cold and top with whipped topping, ice cream or even pudding. I’d like to try this for my mother using fresh peaches. I bet that would be delish!

Check out this huge selection of Betty Crocker Cookbooks!

INGREDIENTS:

1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist vanilla cake mix
3/4 cup frozen (thawed) pink lemonade concentrate
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
3 eggs
pink food coloring, if desired

(see my tips below)

See All My Patreon Video Titles

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F. Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups. Make cake batter as directed on box, using cake mix, 3/4 cup lemonade concentrate, 1/2 cup oil, the water, eggs and food color, if desired. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.

2:  Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Frost as desired.

Darlene’s Tips:  If you don’t have pink food coloring, just use a drop or two of red. Use canned frosting or make your own. You could add a few drops of lemon extract to make the frosting lemon flavored too. Top with sprinkles of your choice.
