Easy Peanut Butter Sheet Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow cake mix
1 1/3 cups water
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
chocolate frosting of your choice

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Spray bottom and sides of with baking spray with flour.
2: In large bowl, beat all cake ingredients with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.
3: Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
4: Cool completely in pan on cooling rack, about 1 hour. Frost as desired.
Darlene’s Tips: You can add sprinkles to the cake or toss on some chocolate and peanut butter morsels. And you don’t have to use chocolate frosting. Use whatever flavor you want. Feeling nutty? Use chunky peanut butter instead of smooth. A chocolate cake mix with peanut butter might be super cool too and frost with this peanut butter frosting.

When shopping on ebay, always read the descriptions. Some items ship from overseas and can take a bit to arrive. Usually the description will state how long shipping might take. Also, for clothing, overseas sizes usually run on the small size so it’s good to order larger by a size or two. Always check the shipping charges. I’m not familiar with these sellers so please do your homework and shop accordingly. Some offer special deals like getting a free item or a percentage off if you buy a certain quantity so be sure you pay attention to that too!

Firecracker Push Up Cakes Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist white cake mix (or any brand)
1 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 egg whites
Red food color
Blue food color
2 cans Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy white frosting (see tips below)

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 36 with cooking spray.
2: In medium bowl, beat cake mix, water, oil and egg whites with electric mixer on low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes on high speed until well blended. Divide batter into 2 bowls. Tint 1 bowl of batter with a few drops red food color; tint other bowl with blue food color.
3: Fill 2/3 full with red batter. Bake about 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven. Repeat with blue batter to make an additional 18 mini cupcakes. Cool completely.
4: To assemble push-up cakes, drop 1 mini cupcake into each . Add generous teaspoon frosting to top of each cupcake. Top each with second mini cupcake; add dollops of frosting to tops of each. Serve.
Darlene’s Tips: If you don’t have, you could bake cakes instead and just break up the cake to make the layers. You could use whipped topping between the layers instead of frosting if you prefer. These can be frozen until ready to serve. They won’t take long at all to thaw. Top with sprinkes of your choice if you like!
