DIRECTIONS:
1: Remove chocolate and vanilla ice cream from freezer; allow to stand at room temperature for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and hot fudge sauce until thoroughly mixed.
2: Scoop chocolate ice cream into a 9-inch springform pan lined with parchment paper. Top chocolate ice cream with cookie-fudge mixture and place scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of the cookie layer. Spread the ice cream flat and even with a spatula. Return to freezer until firmly frozen, at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
3: Working quickly, remove the cake from the springform pan and transfer to a serving platter. Frost cake with whipped topping, piping decoration around the edges with an icing bag fitted with a large star tip if desired.
4: Return to freezer until firm, about 2 hours. Decorate before slicing and serving.
Darlene’s Tips: You can use any flavor ice cream that you want and can experiment with different cookies too!

Hot Chocolate Cookies Recipe
a General Mills Recipe
Check out this huge selection of Betty Crocker Cookbooks!
INGREDIENTS:
1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated chocolate chip cookies (or any brand)
1 cup chocolate flavored hazelnut spread (like Nutella)
6 large marshmallows, cut in half
Do You Like ASMR???
DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Line 2 large cookie sheets with cooking parchment paper.
2: In large bowl, break up cookie dough. Add hazelnut spread. Beat with electric mixer on low speed about 2 minutes or until well blended (or you can mix by hand).
3: Shape dough into 12 (2-inch) balls. Flatten each ball into 3-inch round. Shape 1 cookie dough round around 1 marshmallow half, covering completely. Repeat with remaining dough rounds and marshmallows. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
4: Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until surface of cookie appears cracked and marshmallow shows through. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool 5 minutes. Serve warm. Store tightly covered.
Darlene’s Tips: You could try the coconut covered marshmallows for a twist! I get that would rock my mother’s world. I need to try that!
