Happy Thursday!

Thank goodness both Big Brother and America’s Got Talent are over!  I did not care for Big Brother this season and in the beginning, I was shocked that they didn’t boot Josh right away. As it got closer to the end, I had a feeling Paul would not win because he was pissing too many people off by blind siding them (why anyone would trust what anyone says in that house is beyond me!) so I was not surprised with Josh winning. But man, it was close! Glad my man Cody got the $25K.  He was my favorite due to his ability to say he hates people. lol

As for Talent, my girl won.  I wanted her from the very beginning. It’s always sad for those who lose, but if they are business minded, they will find a way to stay in the spotlight. After all, many winners are never heard from again (remember the chicken singer?) so winning does not mean lasting success.  Pretty sure Darci Lynne the girl ventriloquist has a good career ahead of her.

And yes, I watched both programs by switching channels.  Worked wonders and I only had to invest 2 hours of my precious work time on 4 hours worth of shows!

And next week… Survivor!

As for videos yesterday, I managed to complete an Upcycled Fashion!!!  And I liked the way this one came out.  The bonus is that it was not stressful for me.  I picked something I figured I could do since it was very similar to one of my t-shirt dresses.  I’m still not feeling the love for youtube so I’m being very picky about what I record.

As for recording today, quite sure there will be a car vlog which makes me nervous because I feel it could easily turn into a therapy session.  Those videos make me sick. lol  But at least with comments off I don’t have to be face to face with any “helpful” advice, stupid suggestions or prayers for my mental health.  Those comments bored me to tears and irritated the hell out of me.  I’m always amazed at how many people offer suggestions without me ever asking for them. It goes something like this… I’m in the car and I state that I’m thirtsy.  Someone is guaranteed to leave a suggestion that next time I should bring water.  Helpful, right? Fuck NO!  Do they think I don’t fucking know that? And did I ask for any kind of a solution?  I didn’t.  I was simply stating I was thirsty.  That does not require a fucking conversation.

And I don’t care what anyone says or how anyone feels about it.  Just because someone puts themselves out there does NOT mean others watching have any rights on that person’s channel. Some are mega pissed about me turning comments off.  Why?  Because they feel I turned off their right to say something.  But guess what?!?!?  I didn’t take away that right!  They can have their say all they want on their own channel or facebook page or in whatever group they are in.  It’s not mandatory that I have to hear it or see it.

Now that my comments are off, it’s hitting me just how much I  r  e  a  l  l  y  hate them.  And this is why I think a car vlog can turn into a therapy session.

What I Have on eBay:  Nothing new (I still have Halloween and Reindeer). I will try to get some new stuff listed soon.

Youtube Analytics Mini Update:  I forgot to mention that we hit 28K subscribers the other day!  Very pleased with that.  I used to joke that I wanted 50K by the end of the year but deep down I would have been totally thrilled with 20K.  I got that plus more!  And if I can hit a spike with comments turned off, 50K would be a possibility. But for now, I’m good with what I’ve got and I’m willing to hold out a bit longer to see how comments off works for me.

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

I got off to an early start yet I’m still sitting here doing blogging stuff and behind the scenes stuff.  Time to take a shower and get dressed!  Then my day really begins.

Today is the day my mother’s aide comes in.  I won’t be able to record during that time.  It will give me time to get packages ready for the mail.  I sell some things exclusively to the Peanut Gallery Facebook Group. As for videos, yesterday I re-uploaded an old Doodle Art by Darlene video to my main channel.  I also knocked out another Easy Quilt Block with I ended up really liking!

Today, I’d like to work on an Embellished Quilt Block and I also need to think about a new Upcycled Fashions video. I’m going to try hard to get those both accomplished in the next few days.  I also have to record Peanut Gallery Mail because I got a few packages.  And I will be announcing that it’s going to be my last one. I have enough clothing now to last quite a long time and I don’t want people to send more until I start to run out.  I really do want to use everything I’ve gotten so far. Might take a few years, lol, but I can do it!

Youtube Analytics Mini Update:  Youtube has updated through Sept 18.  My earnings went up a tiny bit, but no spike in sight.  I would not expect to see one in Sept since I had one in Aug. Will just have to keep my fingers crossed that I can still get spikes with comments turned off.  Here’s a stat I rarely look at:  so far for Sept, 29% of my viewers are watching me on a computer, 28% on a phone, 27% on a tablet, 15% on a TV, 1.4% on a game console and the rest is on Unknown.

What I’m Watching Tonight:  So friggin’ pissed that Big Brother and America’s Got Talent, are both on tonight, both the finales, both at the same time.  I hate to record stuff.  And my only recording option is a very old VCR and I’m not even sure it’s still hooked up right since cable made changes.  I will test it later. Other than that, I’ll be forced to switch back and forth between shows.  Even if I record, I hate to watch once I know who the winner is so that means I’d have to watch one show immediately after the other.  Four hours of TV. That’s pure torture.

It’s interesting that I mentioned I felt bogged down after eating a very low carb meal. This is before I was eating only meat and no veggies at all.  It was those damned veggies still killing me!!! lol Seriously, I hope I never bring those back into my life.  Love veggies but I’m convinced they are toxic for me.  I can eat a shit load of meat in one sitting and never feel full or bogged down. Do fucking love!
