chat-monday

Happy Monday everyone!

I was a busy girl yesterday!  I did lots of cooking then I froze it all so I can have quick meals for my mother this week. That is the first video of my new series called See What I Froze Today!  This series will be just quick videos with freezing tips. Please check it out!

I did not get any sewing done, but I did wash more of the fabric that I got from my aunt.  There is something so very pleasing about washing gifted fabric. I get to look at every piece!  And there is a lot to go through. Just love that fabric!

Not much else to report. I think I’ll be maybe do some sewing today. We have two appointments this week, one on Tues and one on Wed so hopefully sewing will take my mind off the fact that my week is being highly disrupted! lol (but seriously, you know how much that bothers me!)

Have a great Monday!

Sunday Chat – Pea Soup, Cooking for the Week, Sewing Tutorials, Nightcap

chat-sunday

It’s Sunday!

I have a big day planned! I will be doing some cooking and freezing so I will have stuff ready for my mother throughout the week.  I also want to do some sewing for tutorials and auctions! And I have homemade pea soup planned too!

Then I have lots of laundry to do because I got a ton of fabric from my cousin that belonged to her mother. Since there was a smoker in that home, the fabric picked up the smell. But I washed a bunch of it last night and it came out smelling like fresh cotton, no cigarette smell at all!  I have lots more to wash. I love fabric so much and I’m honored to be able to turn my aunt’s fabric into new items. Even washing it is an honor.

Last night I recorded a Nightcap explaining why I did not have a video for 2 days. I’m quite sure I’ll be up to recording today, in fact, I want to record my homemade pea soup. But I might upload a tutorial too! So happy that I feel like making a video today!

I want to remind you about my other blogs:

Have a great Sunday!

Saturday Chat – Lazy Day Yesterday, Pea Soup Concoction Tomorrow

chat-saturday

Happy Saturday!

I mostly took yesterday off.  I was just drained.  No video.  I did go out with Sandy for a bit. We hit Hannaford and Roger’s then went for a nice ride.  I got some good deals on meat for my freezer. Should be set for meat for a bit!

The service for my uncle is today, so I’ll be going to that. My mother is not going. Then we’ll have family here for a bit so it’s going to be a busy day. Not sure if I’ll be recording anything later.  But tomorrow I hope to record a new concoction for you… pea soup!

Have a great Saturday!
