Last night I published a video that was a great weight lifted off my chest. It was about my Sanford Shaw’s and my displeasure with how they handle things. I know a video like this will get mixed reviews, as many think I should just be quiet and move on. But, I’ve been quiet too long! From now on, if I am not happy with service I get, I’m going to say so!
We have both versions of the Shaw’s flyer over on Simply Shaw’s. I also posted a few deals an plan on posting more. I’m going to give that blog a good run for the entire month of April. If I see views picking up, I’ll continue. If not, I’ll put that baby to rest.
Did you know we post coupons over on Coupons by Darlene? We do! Right now it’s mostly Kristi who posts there for me, but I’m going to be posting lots of coupons there too. It’s part of my new schedule. I’m going to give that the entire month of April too, and if I find that page is not getting views, we’ll I might just put that baby to rest too!
I’m getting so close to 3,000 subbies over on Youtube (currently at 2915)! And my earnings have picked up there too. I’m still miles and miles away from where I need to be (many, many miles away), but I will get there! And I totally plan on showing you my stats. Real stats. Real expectations on what you can earn on Youtube. None of that get rich quick stuff. So, if you have not subscribed yet, please do so you won’t miss that series!

Just needed to get this off my chest! Now I feel my journey with the Shaw’s flyer is complete. I still have a story I want to tell you about Dan from Shaw’s facebook page, so if you think you might be interested in that, stick around!

I’m heading upstairs to my vlog spot to record the final video about one of the big reasons I decided to put an end to my Shaw’s flyer scans.
Most of you know picking up the flyer was a major issue for me due to my anxiety. You also know I was just plain sick of scanning it (and sick of posting deals in general). Then there was the financial part of it and how being a deals blogger just does not pay like it used to.
What you don’t know is that I made a very good final attempt at continuing to scan the flyer for you by reaching out to my Sanford Shaw’s for help with my concerns. The result of that attempt was the last nail in the coffin. That’s the story I’ll be sharing with you today.
Stay tuned for a new video tonight…

Happy Tuesday everyone! It’s a gray day for me and the wind is blowing! Can’t ask for much better than that!
If you are a youtube content creator, or if you are thinking about starting up, you might like my tip on how to make the thumbs up/down feature private. Viewers can still leave you those lovely thumbs up, but no one can see those pesky thumbs down!
I’m expecting Kristi to get a copy of the flyer later today, so be sure you bookmark the Simply Shaw’s blog and check for it later. You might also want to like the Simply Shaw’s facebook page so you won’t miss out on any deals and also join the facebook group. UPDATE: Looks like Maine images are in, so I’ll get busy posting them to Simply Shaw’s.
Also, the Coupon Database along with all the pages where you can print coupons is over on Simply Shaw’s now. And if you are interested in Hannaford Deals, please visit Kristi’s Hot for Hannaford blog and join her facebook group!

Happy Monday! I know that for many of you, it’s not happy because I am not scanning the Shaw’s flyer. But, I can’t help but say over and over again, dropping that flyer gig was the best thing I could do for my mental health. I know I still have many who are very unhappy with my decision, but it was the only decision I could make. It was the best decision for me! (still so hard to say that)
I keep forgetting to tell you that we have a published author in our circle! Tricia, one of my blog helpers who was with me since the first time I took on help, published an ebook on Amazon! It’s titled The Ultimate Guide to Camping with Kids! Go check it out! Yay, Tricia!
It’s a sad day for my mother. Mother Angelica died on Easter Sunday. If you don’t know who that is, Mother Angelica is the founder of the Catholic channel EWTN. My mother has been watching her for years. My mother just turned 93 and Mother Angelica was to turn 93 in April. My mother talks about her like they are sisters, and although Mother Angelica has not been making new appearances since she suffered a stroke, my mother still watches her repeats every day. We know Mother Angelica was suffering, so it’s good that she’s not any more. Just the same, it’s one more person my mother loses. You lose so many people when you live a long life.
If you’re thinking of dabbling with Youtube, I published my very first Youtube Tip yesterday! I taught you how to save money with coupons, and now I want to teach you how to make money with videos! You can do it! Yes, you can!
And if you need a laugh, I read some Walmart facebook comments last night. And during that video, I chatted about a few things, like whether or not you’d like me to actually disclose my earnings so you can follow my progress as I build my youtube career. It’s scary to share that info, because what if I fail! Oh yeah, there is no failure, only lessons learned! Anyhoo, if I can bring my earnings up, you’d be right there with me from the get go to see how it’s done! And maybe you can do it too!
