I want to start out by saying that I do not live close enough to a Kmart to check on any of this info, so I’m relying on other bloggers to get this info out to you.

It seems like Kmart will be having a Double Coupon Event on Friday, December 16. They will be doubling coupons with a face value of up to $2.00! That means a $2 off coupon will double to $4 off ($1.50 = $3 off, $1 = $2 off, and so on).

There are some rules you need to follow!

1. You must have a Shop Your Way Rewards Member Loyalty Card. You can get this card at the store

2. There is a limit of 5 per customer per day (not sure if they mean only 5 will double or if you are only allowed to use 5 coupons total?)

3. A $25 minimum in drug & grocery purchase is required (bloggers state in the past the min was before coupons, not after :O)

I will try to learn more about this and will also try to come up with a list of high value coupons you might want to use!

Let’s assume you are allowed to only use 5 coupons total. If you had 5 coupons for $2 off, and if those coupons end up making the items free, you could get your entire order down to $5 (spend $25, use (5) $2 off coupons, they will double to $20 off total, pay $5).  Not too shabby!

I suggest if you venture out to try this, don’t drive way out of your way because there may be some disappointments. But if you live near a Kmart, by all means, go there on Friday and see what you can do!

You can see a list of participating stores here – Note: this list is crazy! It’s alphabetical by region but even then, it’s hard to find a store because it goes by Market Name, not necessarily town name (example: Rochester NH Lilac Mall Kmart is listed as Portsmouth). Best way to see if your store is participating is to click on the binoculars, do a search for your town, then look through the list that pops up.
