I walked around Walmart today to pick up some freebies (will post those later) and while I was there, I got prices for Maranatha Premium Butters and Oregon Chai. Oh, how I wanted to leave the store with both these products! But, both were too expensive, even after the $1 off coupons.
The Maranatha Premium Butters were $4.68 for a fairly small jar, so $3.68 after the coupon. No matter how delicious they looked, that’s too much!
The Oregon Chai was $3.38, so $2.38 after the coupons. That’s still too much! At least for me.
I will say, though, that both these products would be awesome in a gift basket or would make really nice hostess gifts. So, you might want to pick some up if you have the coupons! You don’t have to be as ridiculously cheap frugal as me :O)
As for my coupons, I’ll hang on to them with the hope that I find a really good sale.

I know lots of kids out there love Dora the Explorer and Sponge Bob, including my granddaughter. However, I think even a dollar off a roll of this American Greetings wrapping paper might be too rich for my blood. But if you really want to wrap your gifts with these cartoon characters, here’s a way to save a buck!
Do you remember when Hannaford used to bag their groceries in paper bags printed with Christmas designs? I used to use those bags all the time to wrap gifts! Then maybe 15 years ago, Marden’s had a clearance sale on Christmas wrapping paper. I bought 40 rolls for next to nothing. I still have plenty of paper and I use it for every occasion. I don’t care if someone gets a birthday gift in June wrapped in snowflakes and Santa. The paper is only going to end up in the trash!

There is a new coupon out there for Sister Schubert’s Homemade Rolls. I’ve never heard of these (no surprise there) so I looked at their website to see if their rolls are available near Sanford. Their “Where to Buy” tool shows the pre-baked dinner rolls are supposedly available at Walmart. You can check locations near you here.

I am quickly learing all I need to know about Black Friday (see how dumb I am here). I’m still convinced I’ll stay home that day.

There is a new coupon that just popped up for $1/2 boxes of select Post cereals including Grape Nuts, Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran.
My mother loves all of these but her very favorite is Grape Nuts. Poor her… she has not had Grape Nuts since I started couponing because I never had a coupon for it. Post cereal coupons tend to be rare, so you might want to print this one.
These cereals can be quite pricey even with a coupon, so please wait for a sale. And if the price still isn’t low enough for you then skip it and suffer like my mother does!

There is a coupon on coupons.com for $2 off Lloyd’s BBQ Ribs. If you run that over to Walmart, you can supposedly pick up a 1/2 rack of ribs for only $3.98 after the coupon!
This price might be regional. I have not checked it out for myself yet and won’t be shopping until Monday. Don’t wait for me… go out and see for yourself! Grab the bargain if you can get it!

There is a new $3/1 Visine Original printable coupon over at Walmat.com that you can use at any store. This means you can score some cheap eye drops at Walmart right now, or you can wait for a sale at one of the drug stores where you might end up getting the eye drops for free!
According to We Use Coupons, Visine Original is priced around $3.62 to $4.00 at Walmart, so you could get the eye drops there for as low at 62¢ with the coupon.
UPDATE: Budget Savvy Diva is reporting that the .5 oz Visine at Walmart is just $3.04 so only 4 cents with the coupon! That might be regional. I won’t be shopping until Monday so I can’t say for sure.
I have seen Visine Original eye drops on sale for $3 at CVS and Rite Aid (and sometime with rewards included!). If you wait for a sale, you could get the eye drops for FREE or even score a money maker!

I just love the facebook coupon for $1 any Rayovac batteries. Why? Because I can get a 4-pack of AA or AAA batteries at Walmart for 97¢, so with this coupon, they end up being free!
Now, please explain to me why, with sooooo many batteries in my junk drawer, that I allow my mother’s clock to be 10 minutes off for months???

They didn’t give us the flashlight coupon again… boo hoo! My granddaughter is in love with the one I got for FREE for her.

There is a new coupon out for Langers Juice! Print this and wait for a sale at Shaw’s where this coupon will double to $1.10 off! There is no size restriction, so buy the smallest you can find to max out your savings!
UPDATE! Someone on weusecoupons.com (I love that site!) reported that she found 10 oz Langers at Walmart for only 58¢ each. After the coupon, she paid only 3¢ each! Now, that’s a great deal!
ANOTHER UPDATE! Someone reported on I Love to Gossip that these are priced at $1 at Shaw’s so FREE after the coupon doubles!
See folks, you don’t have to have a store that doubles coupons to get great deals!

There is a new high value Minute Maid coupon that should get you some cheap 10-packs of juice boxes at Walmart (usually around $3, so just a buck-ish with the coupon)!
