1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands! Homestyle refrigerated original biscuits
1 bag (16 oz) frozen cooked Italian meatballs
3 cups marinara sauce
2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend (8 oz)
optional: parmesan cheese, chopped fresh basil, oregano, etc.

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F.

2:  Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 6 pieces; place in large bowl. Add meatballs and marinara sauce and stir until well coated.

3: Pour into ungreased 13×9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish. Sprinkle Italian cheese blend evenly over top.

4:  Bake 35 minutes or until biscuit pieces are puffed and cheese is melted and golden brown.

5: Optional: Before serving, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh basil, oregano, hot sauce, or whatever you desire.

Darlene’s Tips: You can use any shredded cheese that you want and any pasta sauce. It does not have to be marinara. And for sure you can use homemade meatballs! You could even use cut up pieces of leftover meatloaf for this recipe.

Bisquick & Cake Mix Pancakes Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 cup Original Bisquick mix
1 cup of boxed cake mix of your choice
1 cup milk
2 eggs

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat griddle or skillet over medium-high heat.  Grease with cooking spray, vegetable oil or shortening. (Surface is ready when a few drops of water sprinkled on it dance and disappear.)

2:  Stir together pancake ingredients in medium bowl until blended.

3:  Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto hot griddle for each pancake. Cook until edges are dry. Flip and cook until pancakes are golden brown. Stack on serving plates.

Darlene’s Tips: You can make a simple glaze to drizzle over these pancakes by mixing powdered sugar with milk or water, a few drops at a time. You can tint the glaze with food coloring.  You can also use any pancake syrup or other flavored syrups like chocolate, strawberry, caramel, or whatever you think will go best with the flavor of cake mix that you used. Don’t want syrup? Top with whipped topping! You can also add varopis ingredients to the batter like 1/4 cup of chopped nuts, candy morels, shredded coconut, raisins, etc. Decorate the top with sprinkles if you want.

Marshmallow M&M Cookie Bars Recipe

Check Out My eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated peanut butter cookie
1 cup M&M’s candy-coated milk chocolate candies
1/2 cup marshmallow creme

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F.  Crumble cookie dough in medium bowl. Stir or knead in candies until well mixed. Reserve 1 cup of the dough. Press remaining dough evenly in ungreased 8-inch square pan. Bake 15 minutes then remove from oven.

3:  Drop teaspoonfuls of marshmallow creme on bar base. Crumble reserved cookie dough onto marshmallow and bar base.

4:  Bake additional 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Store covered at room temperature.

Darlene’s Tips: You can make this recipe instead using peanut butter cups as the candy: Easy Fluffernutter Bars Recipe. If you don’t have marshmallow creme, you can add mini marshmallows or cut big marshmallows.  You can even skip the marshmallows. You can also add chopped nuts to the cookie dough.
