It’s Saturday! A beautiful gray Saturday!
I just love when the sun is not shining. It’s so calming and peacful for me. And when I express my love for gray days, it always reminds me of when I had my coupon blog and I used to post on facebook how excited I was that there was no sunshine on certain days. I got hate for that.
One woman slammed me for spreading depression with my twisted views of what is considered a nice day. She said if I really loved gray days to just keep that to myself. No one needs to be encouraged to hate the sun. No one needs to hear my depressing views on life.
But I actually love gray days. How can something that makes me happy be depressing?
Back then, I was under the impression that I had to just let people say what they wanted on my social media. Today, I would slam the fuck out of that woman and block her from every place I could.
I will never understand why people can’t just accept people for who they are and CELEBRATE that they are honest about what they love. I fucking love gray days! Yet I was expected to be quiet about that while others can boast that they love the sunshine? Fuck that shit. No one will take away my joy over something so simple as a gray day.
Yesterday, I went out to Hannaford and got some freebies for my mother (she loved the chocolate bar!!!)… and 3 loaves of bread. lol You can watch that video here. I also recorded for my patrons with a new rant. $3 patrons can watch that rant here. There’s just always something!
Now I need to figure out what I want to do today. I did not have time to record the air conditioner sounds for my asmr channel. I’m quite sure I can get that done. And I also need to work a bit on my next fabric frenzy (join my group to keep up to date with that) and the afghan I’m working on for a future video. Sounds like a good day. Thanks to that awesome grayness!

When shopping on ebay, always read the descriptions. Some items ship from overseas and can take a few weeks to arrive. Usually the description will state how long shipping might take. Also, for clothing, overseas sizes usually run on the small size so it’s good to order larger by a size or two. Always check the shipping charges. I’m not familiar with these sellers so please do your homework and shop accordingly. Some offer special deals like getting a free item or a percentage off if you buy a certain quantity so be sure you pay attention to that too!

Easiest Ever Cheeseburger Pie Recipe
a General Mills Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Original Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
2: In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese.
3: In small bowl, stir Bisquick, milk and eggs with fork or wire whisk until blended. Pour into pie plate.
4: Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Darlene’s Tips: You can use any ground meat. You could also add green peppers if you like or even hot peppers for a spicy pie. For a real “burger” experience, serve topped with your favorite burger ingredients like sliced tomatoes, pickles, shredded lettuce. Don’t forget the ketchup! Serve with a side of fries!

It’s Friday.
The best thing about Friday is that it’s the end of the week. That means Monday is just around the corner! I love a fresh new work week! Come on, Monday, get here already!
Today I must hit Hannaford. If you read yesterday’s chat, you know that my mother is in serious need of bread. Her most favorite bread is at Hannaford. I need to pick up 3 loaves. That usually lasts her a little over a week. She. Fucking. Loves. Bread.
Another thing I’d like to do is record the sound of my air conditioner for ASMR. I’ve gotten feedback that many love that sounds. Will try to record that today. My $5 patrons will get an early release of that, hopefully tonight.
Speaking of ASMR, I recorded another sound check video last night. Trying to work out the details to using my green room as a studio. I’ve learned that I can’t record with the AC on and take it out of the audio after the fact. It just messes up the audio. So now I have to suffer the heat while recording. Winter will solve that problem. lol I do absoluetly love that I have a dedicated space for recording ASMR. And I’ll figure out something for the hot summer months next year.
I have to leave shortly so I better cut this short. Expect a Car Vlog video later!

Easy Stuffed Snickerdoodles Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

Filling
4 oz (from 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup marshmallow creme
Cookies
1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar

DIRECTIONS:
1: Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
2: In medium bowl, beat cream cheese and marshmallow creme with electric mixer on medium speed about 1 minute or until smooth and creamy. Drop 24 rounded teaspoonfuls cream cheese mixture on cookie sheet. Freeze 1 hour.
3: Heat oven to 350°F.
4: In medium bowl, crumble cookie dough; stir or knead in flour and 1/2 teaspoon of the cinnamon until well mixed. Shape 1 rounded tablespoonful dough around each frozen cream cheese mixture piece, making sure cream cheese is completely covered.
5: In small bowl, stir remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon and the sugar until well mixed. Roll each ball in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
6: Bake 11 to 14 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Darlene’s Tips: If you don’t want to take the time to make the stuffing mixture, just skip that and make plain old snickerdoodles using the cookie recipe only!
