INGREDIENTS:
1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow cake mix (or any brand)
3/4 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup
optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray.
2: In large bowl, beat cake mix, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs and milk with spoon until well blended. Stir in butterscotch chips (and pecans if desired). Spread in pan.
3: Bake 24 to 28 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
4: Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in airtight container at room temperature.
Darlene’s Tips: You can use any nuts you like. You could also do a mix of butterscotch and chocolate morsels for a twist.
