I have the 2017 schedule for the FREE Summer Concerts at Wells Harbor Park for you! Tonight it kicks off with Strafford Wind Symphony. There is plenty of FREE Parking with FREE Restrooms and a FREE Playground for the kids. And the harbor beach is just a tiny walk down a path. The kids will love it! You can see some videos of Skylar and I enjoying the park last summer. Tag Along with Me and Skylar to the Wells Harbor Park! Wells Harbor Park Concert (Too Hot and Buggy!) And yes, once in a blue moon the little flies are out. But I think that has only happened once or twice. Skylar loves that park. Not sure if we will be going tonight or not. But I’d love to go next week because I absolutely love the band they will have as well as the band the week after that. Concerts start at 6:30pm and usually last until at least 8:00pm. Dogs on leash are welcome! You can also bring your own grill. Vendors are usually there too if you want to grab something to eat or drink. Happy Saturday! I started my day off by crying for a very long time. Just exhausted, I guess. And sad that I can’t be with Skylar on a regular basis. Sad that I never left the grips of my mother. Sad that people drive me crazy to the point of wanting to get offline forever and truly live in a cave. Just sad today. Please, don’t tell me to cheer up. That’s not what I’m after (refer to the last sentence above, lol). It’s normal and perfectly fine to be sad. Just sharing how I feel. Not looking for words of encouragement. Hate words of encouragement. Just seems so meaningless to tell someone to feel better or that tomorrow will be better or all that shit. I not only find those “uplifting” words meaningless but also disrespectful, insulting even. It totally dismisses the importance of the sadness and tears. I have said it before and will say it again… sadness gets a bad wrap. Yesterday was rough for many reasons, none of which had to do with Skylar’s visit. Other stuff. It built up and then this morning I broke down. When I stop crying and I can get my eyes to looking somewhat normal, I will record a video about my paper beads and get those up for auction on eBay. Speaking of eBay, I listed 16 Long Quarters of 100% Cotton on eBay last night and those are now sold out. They did not sell out as quickly this time, maybe 4 or 5 hours instead of the usual 2 or 3 hours, so I at least feel good that more had a chance to see the listing before it sold out. I think raising the amount of lots from 8 to 10 helped. I also uploaded Skylar and Nora’s Q&A video that they recorded Wednesday night (why on earth did I send them to a green room? So green! lol). It’s fun for me to edit videos when I have no clue what they did. I only knew it would be a Q&A. They came up with the questions. It’s so cute to watch them grow up yet they are still little girls. Like the other day they got my speakers for one of their phones and they blasted AC/DC in the other room while they sat on the floor and played with stuffed animals. lol Don’t know if I mentioned this but I went into the cellar and brought my toaster oven up. My goodness, why did I ever put that away? I need that! Skylar and I have been experimenting with baking little cakes and cookies using store bought mixes but only using a little at a time, like microwave mug cakes recipe portions, but we are baking in mini pans instead. I will totally be doing this for my mother because I can make just one or two servings and there is nothing left over to freeze! I can also bake small portions of lasagna or meatloaf or whatever and not have to heat the whole house with the big oven. I want to turn this into a new series! Let’s bring back the toaster oven!!! Oh, yesterday we went out with Sandy Pro and we hit Marden’s so Skylar could pick out some fabric for t-shirt dresses that she wants me to make. Then we went to the Another Chance Thrift Store to donate a few things and we came home with a few new goodies including some fabric (we were so excited to see that someone donated fabric) and a few games. We hit Subway for Skylar’s lunch then the bank then home for the rest of the day. We were busy! Today I will be busy again. I need to get the paper beads on ebay, hit Hannaford, return stuff to the library, make a t-shirt dress, possible have Skylar dye my hair, more “easy bake” recipes in the toaster oven, just so much to do! OMG, and I must finish cutting fabric and packaging those for Monday’s mail pick up! And the time is flying by too fast. Makes me sad. That’s okay. Have an awesome Saturday! TGIF! It’s girls’ day out day! I am hoping to get together with Sandy Pro and Skylar has for the moment agreed to go out with us. LOL I want to hit Marden’s for a piece of fabric to make Skylar another t-shirt dress. We will bring her new purple t-shirt to the store with us and I’ll let her pick out a funky print for the skirt part of the dress. I hope she still wants to go out with us when it comes time to leave the house! Today, I must also finish cutting the fabric for this weekend’s fabric listing on ebay. And I need to get my bead auctions finalized for tomorrow’s listing. That means I need to record a video to promote them. Busy girl, I am! What else… oh, I have a vacuum here that needs to be reviewed. And there is hair dyeing! Really aiming for hair dyeing on Saturday or Sunday the absolute latest. Must do!!! Or I should say, Skylar must do. I love when she dyes my hair. Yesterday, I uploaded a Tag Along Car Vlog from Roger’s Parking Lot. I chatted a bit about how I will change my schedule for when Skylar leaves. I was also very tired. lol You can see that here. I also have a Q & A that Skylar and Nora recorded all on their own. I’m still editing that. Might get that up tonight or tomorrow. Derrick is back in Memphis after 6 days in Minneapolis estimating car damage due to hail. It was around the clock work for him but that job pays well when out in the field like that. It was his first time that he traveled for this job and it’s something he’s looking forward to again. I’m so happy he has jobs that lets him travel! I guess that’s it for now. I need to jump in the shower and get ready to hit Marden’s. Not sure what I will record today. I must be quick because we are ready to leave the house. Yes, it’s only 10:15am and I’m dressed and ready to go. I’m a complete zombie with only a few hours of sleep under my belt. But I’m a dressed up zombie. Yesterday we picked up Nora for another sleepover. Then the girls brought their stuffed bunnies, Vanilly and Pinky Jr. to the Springvale Public Library for a Stuffed Animal Sleepover. That was so fun! If you watch THIS VIDEO you will see what the stuffed animals were up to during the night. Just love this! The girls also recorded a Q&A but I have not even looked at that yet. It was just them so I have no clue how that turned out. Will try to edit later today. I also got my fabric yesterday and I talked about my shopping experience in THIS VIDEO. I hope so much I don’t have to wait in line like that any more. I don’t mind waiting my turn, but with the woman ahead of me constantly adding to her cart, I didn’t think my turn would ever come. I seriously have to run. We are off to pick up the bunnies and we’re anxious to see if they got anything in their treat bags. Then we will sit at No. 1 Pond because Nora’s dad (my nephew) and my sister will be there fishing with Jesse (Nora’s brother). The girls will be riding their scooters. Have a great Thursday!
