Happy hump day everyone!

Skylar has been here two weeks now.  It’s going by so fast!  I still have so many things I want us to do together.  Most won’t get done. But many fun things will get done, like Skylar’s Dollar Tree Haul that went up on her channel last night. That girl cracks me up!

I did not upload to my channel last night.  I totally wanted to do a Tipster Tuesday video, but it just did not happen.  I’m okay with that.  Those videos get my lowest views and I’m considering ending that series.  I’m also considering continuing with it and beefing it up with potty mouth talk. LOL  (seriously, I am).  Because I don’t see other tipsters doing that.  Might be a good reason they don’t.  Might also be a good reason I do! lol

Today we are picking up Nora again, Skylar’s cousin. She will be here over night. They are bringing their stuffed animals to the Springvale Public Library this afternoon for a stuffed animal sleepover. The library is supposed to take pics of the animals antics during the night and post them on facebook.  I can’t wait to see that!

Not sure what I will record today.  I wanted very much to have my fabric here so I could start cutting for the next listing.  For sure, I will go pick it out tomorrow.  That will at least give me a little head start.

I also want very much to make Skylar a new t-shirt dress with the t-shirt she got at Dollar Tree yesterday.  And I’d love to record that. She’s pretty good at letting me sew in peace if I’m sewing for her or for her stuffed animals. lol

And I’d love to set up a Q&A for Skylar and Nora and set them up in the small bedroom upstairs as their “studio” and just let them record without me.  I love editing those videos!  I never know what I will see!

It was a cool and gray day this morning and now it’s hot and sunny.  Makes me so sad.  I guess I’ll just have to push through it!

Happy Monday everyone!

Mondays are one of my favorite days of the week.  It’s the beginning of the work week for many, and although my days are all the same, I love the idea of starting off a fresh new week of work.  I know many hate Mondays because they go back to work.  If that’s the case for you, my goodness, get another job!  We spend way too many hours working during our lifetime. Might as well absolutely love what we do!

Enough working pep talk. lol

Yesterday, Skylar and I were quite busy.  We finished packing all the fabric and I got the notice that they were picked up by my mail carrier this morning.  Then we opened peanut gallery mail but that video is not uploaded yet. It’s not even close to being completely edited.  I must work on that all day and get it up as soon as I can because it’s mailbag monday and I want it up today!

It’s a good thing I recorded a Snippets video yesterday because that’s the only video I was able to knock out. Then youtube was having uploading issues (maybe super busy, I don’t know) and it took ALL NIGHT for my video to get published.  It’s finally there.  In it, you will see me finish a mini quilt for Skylar’s teddy bear!  It came out so cute!

We also went in the cellar to look at fabric and Skylar pulled stuff she’s like me to use to make her some tops and also a pair of palazzo pants.  I hope we can do that today.  I also must schedule some bead auctions to come out on July 1st.  Must do that today because scheduling auctions is time consuming yet I’m determined to have some up and running for the first of the month as usual.

What else… not too much else to say.  I need milk so I will at least be going out for that later.  Skylar has no interest in going out during this visit.  She even said no to Dollar Tree for today and shrugged when asked if she will at least go to the fireworks.  We have not been able to record any ride along videos like I planned.  Oh well, I must go with the flow.  I want her happy here and if she wants to stay home, I’m all for that.  Because… hermit. No need to twist my arm.

Happy Sunday!

I woke up so sleepy but got up anyway.  Just so tired of being sleepy!  I went to bed at a decent hour, I think.  Just a lousy sleeper.

We had a big day yesterday.  My mother asked to go for a ride so we took her out.  No camera.  My mother does not like cameras.  It was mega hot out there but cool enough in the car.  We just rode around town a bit, showed her the mill that burned, visited the cemetery, stuff like that.  We were out for maybe an hour.

Then I finished cutting the fabric and I listed the fabric on ebay last night.  I had 12 lots this time and sold out in about 3 hours.  Today, Skylar and I will get all those packaged and ready for my mail carrier to pick up tomorrow morning.  You can see the fabric listing here and you can also see Skylar video bombing me here.  I had no clue she was behind me until I edited. lol

Today we have a big day planned again.  If my mother wants to go for another ride, we will attempt that again.  She mentioned yesterday that she’d like to go out today, but I think the mini outing wore her out a bit.  She might change her mind for today but for sure we will take her out again.  And again, no camera. I’m am constantly asked to record my mother but she hates that and it’s stressful enough to get her out so I don’t want to add to that stress by putting a camera on her.

Skylar and I have the fabric to package up then we also have a Peanut Gallery package to open.  I plan on recording that today so I can have it ready for Mailbag Monday!  And I just realized that I still have not shown her all the wonderful buttons I got from the Peanut Gallery.  I must do that!  She will absolutely love looking through all those buttons. So will I.

Derrick is in Minneapolis for a few days for his job as an independent Auto Appraiser.  There was a hail storm that damaged many cars so he is there with two other appraisers to appraise the damage of over 300 cars.  This is his first time going out in the field like this.  Usually he appraises cars in and around Memphis, maybe 3 or 4 per day.  This gig is going to be around the clock work the entire time he’s there.  But it’s a huge chunk of income for him so it’s totally worth it.  Just so happy that he has jobs like this!

I guess that’s it!  I mentioned the buttons so Skylar is all anxious for that.  Told her we have some other stuff to do first.  Buttons can wait a bit. lol  And I might record a Snippets Video today just to be sure I have something for tonight.  I love having you as part of our day!
