TGIF!

I suddenly feel like time is flying by too fast!  For Skylar, it’s not fast enough.  She is homesick.  I totally get that.  She does not feel like going out much and that’s one thing we have always done during her visits, go out and shop or ride or whatever.

I planned on another fabric shopping trip to Marden’s for today, but she simply does not want to go with me.  I will go alone if necessary because I really want another fabric listing and I know she will be motivated to help with the folding a packaging once the fabric is here.  I think.  I hope! It was so fun doing that together last weekend.

And who knows, she may change her mind and come with me.  But I’m thinking she won’t.

We brought Nora home yesterday and we hope to have her one night next week.  After bringing her home, I went to Hannaford alone while Skylar stayed here with my mother.  I did a Tag Along Car Vlog while there.  It felt good to chat with you all alone for a bit!

I’d love to get a concoction video on Skylar’s channel tonight.  I hope I can at least motivate her to do that.  We need to do something fun!  And my mother needs desserts! LOL

At least it’s a gray day and so far not too hot.  That works great for me.

As for videos from me, I will certainly try hard to have something up tonight.  And I am trying hard to find time for a comments video, but that needs to be while Skylar is sleeping.  She is a night owl like me, so it’s very hard to find time for that.  Comments are building up!

And there is always my hair dyeing video. Must do that. Again, I’m just always too sleepy.  I wish so much I could just sleep well and feel great.  Never will happen.  I’ve been a night owl all my life.

Happy Thursday!

I’m surprised that I got up as early as I did today.  It was 8:30am.  I went to bed by midnight, I think, but it was hours before I fell asleep.  Yet I was able to get up without much effort.  Yay!  Let’s see how long I last. LOL

Today we will be bringing Nora back home.  Two nights was enough for this girl (this girl, meaning me! lol).  I hope to have her for one night next week.  There is something fun going on at the Springvale library that I’d like her to be a part of.  Will let you know what it is if we do indeed do it.  Nothing major, but fun and cute.

I put together an odd Snippets video and uploaded that last night.  You can see that my brain is melting. My stress levels are high, but not really due to the kids (a little bit because of the kids, more than a little actually). My mother’s narcissistic antics are coming out full form. And no matter how used to it I am, it still brings me to my knees like the frightened 5  year old girl that I am.  I am a prisoner of my past, present and future.

Today we will be bringing Nora home.  Then Skylar and I have some cleaning up to do.  I really want us to start putting together stuff to bring to the our favorite thrift store for donation.  All proceeds of the Another Chance Thrift Store go to help homeless pets.  I wish knowing that made it easier to let stuff go, but it doesn’t really.  I’ve decided I’d rather just live with the regrets of getting rid of stuff.  After all, I’m very used to regrets.  Might as well just pile them on!

Not sure what else we’ll be doing today.  I’d love to hit the hay early.  It’s all I think about all day long, but when the darkness comes, my natural clock insists it’s time to be awake.

Quite tired. LOL

Happy hump day everyone!

Skylar has already been here for an entire week.  It really is going by fast!  She had her cousin Nora for a sleepover last night and Nora will be here again tonight.  I hope to have her next week too for one or two nights.  They are the same age. Skylar is just one month older.  Makes it so nice that they get to be together a little bit during the summer.

The girls Dipped Stuff in Chocolate last night and I turned that into a quick video for Skylar’s channel.

I was able to upload my Tipster Tuesday video that I had pre-recorded.  This one is about Watch Time.

And Skylar asked me to make a pair of undies for one of her teddy bears. So I did!  And I turned that into a video too.  I think that was the start to a new Scrappy Transformations series!

Today I have my mother’s new personal aide coming over (been waiting well over a year for EIM to find someone!!!).  When she leaves, I’m taking the girls out to Dollar Tree then we’ll stop by somewhere for milk.  Might hit a park too, depends on how hot it is out there.

I need to keep them entertained for a bit before we go out.  I’ll be making them this play-dough recipe that Skylar and I tested and loved and that should satisfy them for at least an hour, maybe more!

Not sure what else is on the agenda.  I hope early bedtime?  LOL  At least for me!  I’m completely exhausted!!!
