Happy Tuesday! Today is one week since Skylar has been here. It’s already going by too fast! I have so many things planned and we have not even tapped in to those tasks yet, like sorting toys for donation. How much you want to be we don’t get that done? Hard for me to part with stuff. Let me tell you what Skylar is mega excited about! Her cousin Nora is coming today for a two night sleepover! That’s if all things go as planned. And I hope to have her at least one or two nights per week during Skylar’s stay. Slumber party for the girls! And that includes me! lol Yesterday, Skylar and I did not do much during the day. We crafted and she napped. Then we went out and I recorded a Snippets video of our adventures. And I ended my day by eating stinky wings. And I guess it’s not my imagination because others left comments that they think those Tyson wings are funky too! I’m quite sure Skylar will have something on my channel with Nora here. I love to edit Skylar’s videos when I’m not a part of them. So fun to see what they come up with! Please subscribe to Skylar’s World so you won’t miss out! I have a Tipster Tuesday video pre-recorded so let me go publish that right now… DONE! This one is about the importance of Watch Time. You can see it here. I must jump in the shower and get this day started. Skylar wants to play cards. We make up all the games we play. So fun! I really should record some of those games. There are times we make up one that we absolutely love but then next time we are together, we can’t remember it. A video would be helpful! Have a great Tuesday! Happy Monday everyone! I’m suddenly so sad. Skylar is only going to be here for 5 weeks, not 5.5. I was so sure I booked their return trip around the 22nd of July but it’s the 19th! Now I feel like I lost precious time. Tomorrow is already one week down. Only 4 weeks left! It suddenly does not seem like enough time. I don’t like losing those few days that I thought we had together. Oh well… I’m sure the booking was not working out and that’s why I booked the way I did. Let’s talk a bit about yesterday. We did so much stuff! Played games, painted, shopped, laughed, cried (her, a little, me, not yet… lol) and we ate some good meat! She even asked for meat last night as a snack. Thinly sliced london broil cooked in butter with sharp cheddar cheese melted on top. Simply delish! But she eats other stuff too. Not just meat. So back off, haters! We went to Walmart for a few things and we took you with us. It was so incred hot in the store! Seriously, I’m sure some people could not shop due to the humidity. Just crazy! I also managed to upload my Youtube Earnings Update last night. So far, it’s a good month! Check it out! Not sure what we have on the agenda for today. I’d like to maybe go out if it’s not too hot. Don’t know. I sometimes wish our summer vacations together could be away from this house, far away, like maybe Florida or something. A change of family dynamics would be nice. Lots of stress in this house. You know what I mean, jelly bean? Update: I’m currently making clothing for stuffed animals. I do not have the camera on. I need to be able to do some stuff sans camera. But maybe we can show you what I made later and also might be able to show how I used baby clothing as patterns for stuffed animals and dolls. After Skylar leaves. Have a great Monday! Happy Sunday! It’s another gray day! I think I’ll take Skylar out for a nice ride later and take advantage of no pesky sun bothering my eyes. And it’s not hot. Perfect day! We have been super busy with so many things. One thing we did was get a fabric order ready for eBay and I sold out in about 2 hours. Today we will get all the packages ready for tomorrow’s pickup. So fun to be able to work with Skylar as my helper. She helps so much! Another thing on the agenda for today is more sewing lessons. I want her to try my old machine as I think it will be easier for her to guide the fabric. And I’d like to pull out a messy drawer and clean it. She actually loves tasks like that. I don’t. lol But it will be something we can do together that does not require messy cleanup like paint and glue. lol No matter what we end up doing, it will be fun and exhausting at the same time. I have been up since 7:00am which is unheard of for me. So I’ll be pooping out soon. Oh! I forgot to mention that I will indeed be doing my Youtube Earnings Update as usual. I had a bit of time to record it but then both my batteries were dead. Once they are charged, I’ll finish up. Hopefully I can have that uploaded tonight. And I’d like to have something for Skylar’s channel too. Busy busy! Have a great Sunday! Darlene xoxo
