Tuesday Chat – Opened PG Mail, Marden’s Trip, Website Woes

chat-tuesday

Happy Tuesday!

I wish I could say I was happy, but I’m quite stressed out.  Website stuff.  Trying to move my son’s site to a different host and I’m not having any luck.  UGH!  I just hate stuff like this!

Yesterday, I ran to Marden’s to buy the fabric for my ebay sales.  And I took you with me!  I also showed the fabric to you when I got home and also showed what a fat quarter is for those who do not know.  Then I got the shocking realization that I worked for next to nothing because I was not paying attention to my ebay fees. lol  You can see it all here.

I also opened a package that I got for my Upcycled Fashions.  I also chatted a bit on how I really do not want anyone sending me personal gifts.  It’s just a total waste of money.  I don’t want or need anything.  Just don’t.  I’m accepting clothing for upcycled fashions because that benefits everyone as they get to watch me turn the clothing into possible disasters. lol

Not sure what I have planned for today.  I’m sickened by the website stuff.  Will be spending a large part of the day… week… month… on that.

Have a great Tuesday!
Darlene XOXO

Ro*Tel Famous Queso Dip Recipe

NOTE:  Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:

1 can (10 oz) Ro*Tel Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, undrained (or great value brand)
1 pkg (16 oz) Velveeta, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (or great value brand)

Darlene’s Tips:  Feel free to swap out for store brands to save money!  Feel free to experiment by adding other ingredients like black beans!

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1:  Combine undrained tomatoes and Velveeta in medium saucepan.

Step 2:  Cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until Velveeta is melted completely and mixture is blended, stirring frequently.

Step 3:  Serve warm as a dip with tortilla chips, crackers or cut-up fresh vegetables.

Monday Chat – Picking Up Fabric Today and Holy Shit Check Out my Tote Bag!!!

chat-monday

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope everyone is doing fine and dandy today.  I woke up in a good mood because I get to run to Marden’s today to pick out the cotton batik fabrics for the fat quarters that I sold.  I ended the ebay listing at 4 lots so it would give me a chance to see how this all goes.  I only need to buy 1 yard of fabric from each of 16 different bolts.  This way, I will not have any lots left over.  Then I will put the listing back up but I might make a few changes.  I’d also like to offer fat eights for those who would like less fabric but would like variety to help build their stash. So much fun!!!

Yesterday, I uploaded an I Read My Youtube Comments video.  This is quickly becoming one of my most liked series.  It’s not getting me the views that my quilt blocks get, but the series is still fairly new and I am getting enough views to keep it going, so I hope to reply to comments on video once a week.

And get out about this tote bag!  Did you see the current bid?  I started it at $20… look what it’s up to now!!!

Today, I hope to record some of my fat quarters adventure.  I also want to show what a lot of 16 fat quarters looks like.  I also want very much to bring another doodle from my old craft channel over to my main channel.  And I have plans for a rag quilt tote bag tutorial that I’m very anxious to knock out.  Stay tuned!

Have a great Monday!

Darlene
XOXO
