Woohoo!!! If you like popcorn and soda, you are in for a treat! Shaw’s is having an insane B1G1G2 FREE sale on Orville Redenbacher’s and soda starting Friday, Feb 3. And there is a coupon to make the deal even more insane!
Here’s how it looks:
Buy 1 Orville Redenbacher’s Microwave Popcorn 3pk and
Get 1 FREE Orville Redenbacher’s Microwave Popcorn 3pk and
Get 2 FREE 2 liters of 7UP or A&W Root Beer
You can use the $1/2 Orville Redenbacher’s coupon from the 1/22 SmartSource insert to knock a buck off the total! Some regions got $.75/2 coupons which means they will get $1.50 off after the coupons double!
I’m not sure of the final price because I don’t know the price of the popcorn. However, I see in the fine print that the freebie’s value is up to $2.50. So, my best guess is the popcorn will be $2.50, or $1.50 after the coupon (or $1 if you got the better coupon).
No matter what the price is (and I will find out and update), all you pay for is ONE popcorn (less the coupon) and you get another popcorn and 2 bottles of soda FREE! OMG, if you have a bunch of coupons… it’s stock up time!!!

I just got back from my little walk around Shaw’s in Sanford and I want to report that they have about 40 boxes of Shaw’s Pie Crusts marked down to $.99 each in reduced dairy! There are no coupons to go with this, but $.99 is a great price if you’re in the pie making mood!
They also had gallons of Hood milk priced at $3.39 and a couple dozen eggs priced at $.90 each.
Reduced produce had 8 bags of Fresh Express, but they were marked down to $1.25, not $1.00, so I didn’t pick any up. I currently have 16 bags in my refrigerator (I’m eating salad all day, every day!), so I didn’t want to spend $.15 per bag for more. Instead, I left all my coupons there and managed to convince one passer-by that she needed to pick up cheap salad!
Reduced deli was full of various sandwich meats, sausages, meat ends, various Alouette (Qs in 11/20 SS), and lots of fried chicken.
I walked out with one FREE half gallon of Silk… the only one they had in reduced. It was marked down to $1 and I had $1/1 that I picked up on some display awhile back. At least I left with something!

Full disclosure. There are two new Ricola coupons that just came out. If you shop at a store that doubles coupons (like Shaw’s), then you will definitely want to use the $.75/1 there so it will double to $1.50 off one package!

These shopping trips are part of my $12 Challenge (see here).
I didn’t buy much tonight (I usually always shop small) but I feel like I scored BIG TIME because I found Wholly in reduced produce at Shaw’s! I had coupons for $1.50 off and was so hoping to get to use them before they expired… and I got to! It wasn’t Wholly Guacamole, but Wholly Salsa. I would have preferred guacamole, but guess what? There was a huge Florida avocado in reduced produce too! So I can make my own guac! Woohoo!
As for Hannaford, I have been using the deli coupon to pick up sliced green peppers in with the pizza toppings (they are in deli and ring up as deli). I boil them for just one minute the freeze. It gives me awesome green peppers for stir fry, pizza, spaghetti sauce (gotta feed my mother her spaghetti!), pepper steak… anything!

UPDATE: Looks like this little bugger hit its print limit quick because the coupon is no longer available. If it makes you feel better, even I didn’t print in time!!! I will update if it makes another grand appearance.
Right now Shaw’s has Keebler Club Crackers on sale 4 for $8 (must buy 4 participating items, mix and match, to get the $2 each sale price). With the new printable coupon that just came out today, you can score some super cheap crackers!
If you want just the Keebler Club Crackers, you will need to get your hands on 4 coupons, so you will need access to 2 computers. The deal at Shaw’s will look like this:
Buy (4) boxes Keebler Club Crackers (11-15oz) at 4 for $8
Use (4) $.70/1 Keebler Club Crackers coupons (NLA)
your coupons will double to $1.40 off each
Final price is $2.40 or just $.60 per box!
The other items included in this 4 for $8 sale are:
Keebler Cookies (6.6-15oz)
Town House (7.7-16oz)
Kellogg’s Corn Flakes (18oz)
select varieties, not sure which
Search for coupons for this sale in my Coupon Database!

OMG! The reduced produce section at the Sanford Shaw’s was bursting at the seams today (Saturday). It’s hard to tell, but there are bags and bags piled on top of each other. If you are heading in that direction, bring your coupons! Can you say FREE Fresh Express?
They had at least 15 bags of Fresh Express salad, all Sweet Tender Greens or Tender Ruby Reds. They are reduced to $1.00 and that lovely Fresh Express coupon is still doubling at Sanford, with overage!
(If you need the Fresh Express coupon, email me. I’m here and can zip it right over to you. I know you want to run out the door!)
Looks like the date was Jan 29 for all the salad. But, I have been getting this stuff all month and these two salad mixes last a long time. In fact, today I just opened two bags with a best by date of Jan 20 and they are as fresh as ever! It’s really only the iceberg that does not last long.
They also had maybe 15 to 20 bags of coleslaw, but I didn’t see Fresh Express. However, I didn’t really look hard and now I’m kicking myself because I could use some coleslaw! Those bags were $1.00 each.
And there was this one big veggie tray for only $5.00. It weighs 2.5 pounds! That’s a good deal for 5 bucks. You know, you can cook these veggies! There is no law saying you have to eat them with dip. I would have loved to buy it, but $5.00 is like a million dollars to me now. So, you can have it :O)

Reduced deli was quite full too. They had lots of fried chicken, sandwich meat, Oscar Mayer bacon and a bunch of other stuff. I even got to talk to Simon the deli manager. He said reduced deli has been doing really well and he was trying to keep it stocked with lots of goodies. I told him I hoped I was part of the reason he was selling so much. He said he wants me to send everyone over! What a nice guy (and quite cute).
Reduced dairy was empty. Well, it was full of eggs, but not reduced. I asked if maybe they moved the section (I was in a panic) and the guy said no. He said it just got empty so he moved eggs over there for now. He said it was full yesterday and it sold like crazy. Said he has a hard time keeping it stocked. I wonder why ;O)
