Thursday Chat – A Mini Depression Scare but All is Good Today!

A funny (like not funny at all) thing happened to me yesterday. I woke up not feeling good. Woke up in a fog. It got worse as the day went along, then the night was horrid. I felt like I was falling into a depression. This had me extremely worried because I have been over 3 months now with not a hint of depression kicking in. And I’ve been off my Prozac for a month.

Then at night, I started getting constant head zingers (you can feel that when coming off anti-depressants) and I could not walk straight. I looked it up, and it seems that it can take weeks for Prozac to completely get out of my system. So I felt much better just knowing that I was probably still going through withdrawals. I just hope I can totally stay OFF Prozac. I’ll just give it more time and will see how this all plays out.

Today, I woke up feeling great. I have been feeling so good since eating just meat, and to have a bad day like yesterday was killing me. All I did was worry that my awesome world was falling apart. But today it is back to good. So I am going to just keep doing what I’m doing because yesterday was not depression. For me, depression is not something that kicks in for one day only. I would normally be in that dread and doom phase for at least two weeks. I think I just went through the last bit of withdrawal. But it was scary, just the same.

Today, I hope to sew and get some videos up! My head is crystal clear! I was not able to record anything yesterday at all. I basically went to bed at 4pm and stayed there.

What I Ate Yesterday – Day 90

Yesterday – Tuesday 2/14 – Day 90

When I got up, I had my usual chug jug of hot water.

At 3:00pm, I cooked the rib eye that I bought during this Meat Haul and I must say, I was NOT impressed at all. I won’t be buying that again. I know I got an end cut, but this baby had no flavor. The fat was tasty, but the actual meat was very blah. I never fail with a New York Sirloin!!! And I can get those on sale much cheaper than a rib eye. And the flavor of a NY Sirloin is da bomb (nice and bloody, too!). I also cooked 6 breakfast links from the same shopping trip, then I heated up some of the egg and meat concoction that I had left over from the night before. I ate everything on my plate except for 2 of the sausage links, which I gave to my mother.

At 9:30pm, I was not sure if I was hungry or not, so I ate some deli roast beef and 2 slices of salami (again, from this meat haul) to see if it would trigger my appetite, but it didn’t. So I stopped eating and that was it for the night.

Food that entered my mouth yesterday: steak, sausage, sliced beef, ground beef, bacon ends, eggs, deli roast beef, salami, butter and lots of delicious water.

IMPORTANT – My doctor totally approves of this!!! See this vlog to see how my appointment went!

You are free to follow my progress/failures and you can even disagree with what I do. Just remember that I will get the last word because it’s my blog, my channel, my life! That’s the new me talking! (I think I’m growing balls! Let me look… yes, I see one starting to grow!)

Wednesday Chat – Dentist Today, Fleece Pants Auction, Meat Haul

Happy hump day everyone!

I have a dentist appointment today. Not sure I really want to do what my dentist suggests. He seems to think I need a filling. I swear I need a root canal. I have a feeling this filling will be a waste of money. Next thing I know, he’ll be sending me off to the endodontist. Just wish teeth could last a lifetime. What a lousy plan that was!

Yesterday, I took you for another ride to Hannaford so you could see the new snow. I also showed you my meat haul!

Then last night, I listed the Fleece Pajama Pants on eBay! Be sure you check them out!

Not really sure what I’ll get done today. That pesky appointment cuts into my day! But I will try hard to have some kind of video up tonight. Just not sure what.
