Select varieties of Shaw’s Essential Everyday pasta will be on sale for $1 each starting Friday, December 9. If you have the coupon from the Freshly Made Holiday coupon booklet (your Shaw’s might still have some), you can use the $1/1 Essential Everyday coupon and get a box of pasta for FREE!
If you have enough pasta in your stockpile (I keep enough for a year), you can use the coupon to get Instant Oatmeal for only 88¢!
Please note that the coupon states one coupon per customer per transaction. And always watch the screen to be sure you get the dollar off!

Do you remember when I posted coupons for Hormel items (you can see that post here). I came this close to not printing them. But, I printed them all just in case I found a good deal.
So far I used the Hormel Chili coupons (found the chili 50% off and got the cans for next to nothing with the coupons) and also the Compleats Meals (got the meals for 50¢ each). The coupons I figured I’d end up tossing are the $3 off the party tray coupons, because even $3 off is not enough for me to buy a party tray.
But, something told me that a party tray was the exact type of thing that might pop up in the reduced deli section at Shaw’s. AND I WAS RIGHT!
Tonight I found 3 Hormel Party Trays in reduced deli and they all had lovely $3.00 off coupons slapped on them (original price was $7.99 each). I pulled out my equally lovely $3 off coupons (you can stack a manny Q with a store Q) and I got $6 off each party tray! I got them for only $1.99 each! Now all I need is a party!

I just posted about the FREE paper towels you can pick up at Shaw’s, and while you are at it, pick up a box of whole wheat pasta for only 19¢!
Inside the new coupon booklet at Shaw’s (your store should still have some, Sanford Shaw’s does) there is a coupon for $1 off any Essential Everyday item. The EE whole wheat pasta is on sale for $1.19 through 12/8, so only 19¢ after the coupon!
The coupon states one coupon per customer per transaction. If you want a few boxes of pasta, you’ll need to shop a few times! (wink)

Did you pick up the new coupon booklet at Shaw’s yet? If not, your store should still have some (Sanford Shaw’s does).
Inside there is a coupon for $1 off any homelife cleaning or trash bag product. The single roll of homelife paper towels are on sale for $1 this week (through 12/8). You know what that means, right? FREE paper towels!
The coupon states one coupon per customer per transaction. If you want a few rolls, you’ll need to shop a few times! (wink)

Back in October I told you about a money maker deal through the form of a rebate for Frootee Ice Freezer Pops (see here). I just want to report that I got my 5 rebate checks yesterday for a total of $10 back! So, if you did the rebates too, check your mailbox!
NOTE: My checks came in the form of postcards and looked very much like junk mail. I have learned to always check my mail carefully now, because most of the coupons I get by mail also look like junk mail. Don’t toss any money in the trash!

Here are some great milk coupons! Smart Balance often goes on sale for $2.49 to $2.99 each, so you can score a good deal on milk with these coupons! If your store doubles, print the $.75 off coupon too!
You know why I print ALL milk coupons, don’t you? Because I find milk in the reduced dairy section at Shaw’s. With coupons I get milk super cheap (like these 3 gallons of Hood for a buck fifty total) and sometimes FREE!
Try using zip code 43420 then click on Beverages to find them!

I almost forgot to post the Minute Maid coupon that popped up a few days ago! Print before it goes away!
I can’t remember the exact scenario, but on the 3rd of July (I was on my way to see the fireworks with my little Skylar which is why I remember the date) I specifically remember getting TWELVE Minute Maid 12 packs for FREE at Shaw’s! Yes, 12 free 12-packs! I know they were on sale and I know I had coupons. I think there was also a catalina deal attached. I even think I somehow made $7 on the deal with leftover cats. That was before I started blogging, so I can’t look it up.
Anyhoo, when I get that much of something for FREE, I always print just in case that deal comes around again! And you never know, it might!

I’m starting to remember more. They were B2G1 free at Shaw’s. There was also a B2G1 free coupon so we ended up with B1G2 free. And back then, we could use a coupon on the free items. And there was a catalina. And I did make $7 on the deal. It was crazy! (p.s. I paid tax and deposit)

I hit Shaw’s late Friday night to pick up my free butter and a few other things. I expected to be quick, but I ended up shopping for 2.5 hours!
I got quite a bit of stuff, some things which got me very excited, like 6 half gallons of Tru-Moo milk marked down to $1.50 each in reduced dairy… and I had coupons for $1.10 off each one! So, I paid only 40¢ each!
Sorry, but I’m too beat to take a photo. Here is the list:
(2) 2 liter bottles Big Chill soda (free with store coupon)
(1) 2 lb bag Shaw’s flour (45¢ after store coupon)
(1) 2 lb. bag Shaw’s sugar (free with store coupon)
(4) boxes Archway cookies
(8) boxes Zatarains rice
(4) jars Cain’s relish
(1) jar Essential Everyday spaghetti sauce
(4) packets Kikkoman seasoning (all free with coupons)
(5) bags Humpty Dumpty chips
(6) half gallons Tru-moo milk (total $2.40… yippee!)
(12) tubs Land O Lakes butter (all free with coupons)
(8) International Delight creamers (I’m finally out of these coupons)
(4) boxes WhoNu cookies
(4) 1 liter bottles Poland Spring sparkling water (all free with coupons)
(4) boxes Nestle hot cocoa

Total before Shaw’s card and coupons: $151.39
After Shaw’s card and coupons I paid only $24.81

The $1/1 Wholly Guacamole coupon has been reset on their facebook page. I only use this coupon when I find it in reduced dairy at Shaw’s so I can get it for FREE or 50¢. Okay, that’s a lie. Read below…
$1/1 Wholly Guacamole, Salsa or Queso – we only get one print per computer on this one.
Now, for my confession. I was holding on to two $2 off Wholly Guacamole coupons and they were about to expire. Shaw’s did not have any Wholly in reduced dairy, not even on expiration day (boo hoo). So, I ran over to Walmart and splurged on two boxes because I was having a massive craving for the green junk and I could not stand to toss those $2 coupons. The price was $2.78 per box, so a whopping 78¢ each after the coupons. That was a stretch for me! I have never paid more than 50¢ a box before. I’m still a little sick over it.

I just ran over to the Sanford Shaw’s to see if they still had Egg-Lands Best eggs in their reduced dairy section marked down to $1 per dozen… and they did! I was able to buy 12 dozen eggs and they were all FREE thanks to the $.50/1 dozen Egg-Lands Best coupons (they doubled) that I found in my vast collection of coupon inserts!
You might wonder what I’m going to do with 12 dozen eggs. Here’s my plan of action:
1 dozen will be hard boiled and turned into egg salad to eat right now.
3 dozen will be hard boiled and pickled to eat later (I also use pickled eggs for egg salad… yum!)
7 dozen will be scrambled and cooked then divided into 42 individual size breakfast servings. I’ll pop those in the freezer so my mother can have scrambled eggs any time she wants (yes, you can freeze cooked scrambled eggs).
1 dozen will be scrambled and cooked then used in the lasagna that I’m making today. I’m going to put an entire layer of scrambled eggs between the pasta noodles. I’m skipping the meat for this one. It will be just scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, zucchini and yellow squash, and cheese. I’ll make sauce with meat to pour on top when we eat it. YUMMO!!!
