NOTE: I get messages asking me why I post these types of recipes while I’m following a zero carb animal kingdom only food plan. My answer is because I’m following ZC, but I bet you’re not! Just because I eat a certain way does not mean I have to limit myself to sharing only meat recipes. I’m not the carb police! lol Be sure you check out what I eat everyday!!! Easy Fruit Crisp Dump Dessert Recipe INGREDIENTS: 1 box Betty Crocker SuperMoist yellow cake mix
Darlene’s Tip: You can buy any brand cake mix or any flavor! DIRECTIONS: Step 1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). In large bowl, stir together cake mix and butter until crumbly; set aside. Step 2: Spread pie filling and pineapple in ungreased 13×9-inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix mixture evenly over fruit. Step 3: Bake 38 to 44 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool 30 minutes. Serve warm or cool. Store loosely covered. Yesterday – Tuesday 12/27 – Day 41 I had my usual cup of coffee with hwc when I got up. I do this pretty much every single day. At 3:30pm, I ate late because I was out and about recording this Ride Along with Me video. I was in the mood once again for just sliced beef. However, I had some ground beef already cooked and also had a rotisserie chicken in the fridge, so I wanted to eat some of that so it does not go to waste. The minute I started chowing down, I realized just how delish it all was! That’s the funny thing with eating meat. It takes away my appetite to the point where I’d rather eat nothing at all. But the minute I bite into my meat variety, I realize just how much I love it! I left 3 slices of beef on the plate you see above. I ate the rest. And yes, I still eat with my fingers. At 4:00pm, I finished off my meal with a decafe with heavy whipping cream. At 9:00pm, I had a cold snack which consisted of the 3 leftover slices of beef from lunch and I also picked apart the rest of the rotisserie chicken. I did this while sitting in front of the TV. What I used to consider a bad habit (eating in front of the TV) is now a completely guilt free pleasure. I no longer want to punish myself for eating! At 1:00am, I got out of bed and cooked some more slices of beef in butter, cooked rare. I feasted on that then back to bed I went! Do. Love. Beef! Oh, I also had a swig of light cream. Food that entered my mouth yesterday: sliced beef, ground beef, chicken, butter, light cream, heavy whipping cream, coffee, salt, pepper, lots of water. You can watch THIS VIDEO to learn why I’m doing this. This is the facebook group I’m in. It’s a public group so you can read the posts without joining. I will be talking about this new way of life often on my Youtube channel, so please subscribe and you won’t miss a thing! This is the article that I stumbled upon by Kelly Hogan which got me immensely excited. And this is Kelly’s blog. PLEASE READ: Please remember that it’s MY CHOICE to eat the way I want. If you think this is unhealthy, know I’m not as concerned with physical health. I’m more concerned with my mental health. I’m on a mission to feel better mentally… without cravings!!! I’m willing to test this so you don’t have to! But what works for me might not work for you. I’m not doing this to lose weight. I’m doing this because I’m convinced that I’m overly sensitive to carbs and that I must stay away from them if there is any chance of me feeling better. I’m eating from the animal kingdom only, like the complete opposite of vegan. I know this upsets many, but I promise I won’t eat your pets. You are free to follow my progress/failures and you can even disagree with what I do. Just remember that I will get the last word because it’s my blog, my channel, my life! That’s the new me talking! (I think I’m growing balls! Let me look… yes, I see one starting to grow!) BE COOL -> Subscribe to my Youtube channel I use affiliate links in some of my posts. Happy hump day everyone! I don’t think I have to go out today! Hooray! And it’s a gray day, so I hope that puts me in the mood for a no-sew project to show you. Yesterday, I was uber busy editing my new 2 Camera Ride Along video! I’m happy to report that neither camera ever fell off my windshield. But editing took me over 5 hours. But it was fun! It was fun riding around with you and also fun to do the editing. I hope you watch! Today also marks the end of 6 weeks of eating only an animal based diet. Nothing else has entered my mouth, not even a bite or a lick of a finger. Just mostly meat with some eggs and a tiny bit of cheese plus lots of butter and some cream. You can see what I eat daily here. Let’s get this day started! Have a happy Wednesday! Darlene BE COOL -> Subscribe to my Youtube channel I use affiliate links in some of my posts. Mimosa Cupcakes Recipe INGREDIENTS: Cupcakes 1 box Betty Crocker SuperMoist white cake mix Frosting* 6 cups powdered sugar Sprinkles* Edible glitter or coarse white sparkling sugar *Darlene’s Tip: You do not have to buy brand names! Store brand will work! And you can skip making the frosting and just buy any frosting you want. It will still be delish! Same with the sprinkles, just use what you want or skip them even. DIRECTIONS: Step 1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups. Step 2: In large bowl, beat cupcake ingredients with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups (about two-thirds full). Step 3: Bake 18 to 23 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely. Step 4: In large bowl, beat frosting ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy. Spoon into decorating bag with large star tip (#5). Pipe onto cupcakes; sprinkle with glitter and orange peel. Store loosely covered in refrigerator. Yesterday – Monday 12/26 – Day 40 I had my usual cup of coffee with hwc when I got up. I do this pretty much every single day. At 3:00pm, I ate beef! I had some slices of top round cooked rare plus some ground beef. I’ve been on a beef kick lately! As always, it’s cooked in butter. I ate everything in my plate. At 3:30pm, I finished off my meal with a decafe with heavy whipping cream. At 6:30pm, I had more beef. Just slices this time, cooked rare in butter. At 9:30pm, I had a nice swig of cream. Please remember that I drink lots of water throughout the day. The cream is just so satisfying for when I want something other than water. But cream is not optimal if trying to lose weight. I’m not trying to lose weight, so I am fine with daily gulps of cream. It’s part of the animal kingdom, so it is allowed, just not optimal. At Midnight, I got out of bed and cooked some more slices of beef, rare, in butter. I’m quite the beefy girl! lol And I had another swig of cream. Back to bed I went! Food that entered my mouth yesterday: sliced beef, ground beef, butter, light cream, heavy whipping cream, coffee, salt, pepper, lots of water. You can watch THIS VIDEO to learn why I’m doing this. Happy Tuesday! Yesterday, I took you to Walmart with me and I got brave enough to blow a horn again! Scares me every time! But so fun to do! I also finished my monster quilt yesterday. I’ll be showing it to you soon. I’ll also show you the method I used to make the blocks look like they are sashed. The block method is easy, but making a very large quilt with that method is not so easy. Good method for smaller projects. Coming soon! Today, I must go out again. My mother needs bread! She’s completely out. She even shared her last slice with the squirrels. So I might do another Tag Along but also want to do another Random Facts. Not sure what will be posted tonight. Stick around to see! Maybe both! Have a great Tuesday! Darlene BE COOL -> Subscribe to my Youtube channel |
