READING MATERIAL:Lex Rooker: The Unique Healing Power of an All-Raw Zero Carb DietNOTE:some choose to eat raw meat and eggs but that is NOT mandatory or even promoted as “being better for you” in the facebook group I’m in. Eating raw is a personal choice and works better for some to improve their health. P.S. I love raw beef and have always eaten some raw when slicing it. I still do that to this day.
REMINDER:I’m not doing this to lose weight! In fact, I’ll be shocked if I ever lose weight eating this way! lol. I know many of the ZC vets who have lost weight eating meat only say they gained at first and that weight loss was slow going. But many of them have also kept all their weight off and have been happily eating this way for years! I’m in this for the health benefits, mainly for my mental health. However, I promised I would weigh myself on New Year’s Day for the curious minds, and I am still planning on doing that, so stay tuned!
Yesterday – Wednesday 12/21 – Day 35
I had my usual cup of coffee with hwc when I got up.
At 3:00pm, I cooked some nice slices of beef that I just bought at Hannaford during this Ride Along with Me video(you get to see where I live!). I also added some pieces of rotisserie chicken that I bought during the same shopping trip. To that, I added some cooked leftovers that even included bits of egg. I ate almost all that you see in the pic above. I had maybe 4 or 5 beef slices remaining which I’ll finish up today.
At 9:30pm, I got hungry for my deli meat!!! I don’t usually have just deli meat as a meal, but I did not feel like cooking so I ate maybe close to a pound of deli meat, a mix of roast beef and turkey breast which I also picked up in this shopping trip.
At 1:00am, I was not really hungry, but more wanting to eat something by habit. At this point, I don’t care why I feel like eating. If I want to eat, I just eat. I grabbed more deli meat and ate some. Not too much. It did the trick. Oh, and a swig of light and heavy cream mix.
NOTE:I discovered that even though eggs are on the optimal list of what I can eat, they are harder for me to digest and they do not really satisfy my hunger. I’m still willing to have a few on the side now and then, or maybe even scrambling one in each meat concoction I make, but will not be eating eggs as a the main course for now. Meat really is supposed to always be the main focus of any meal. And I find beef is by far my favorite, most filling, most satisfying.
Food that entered my mouth yesterday: beef slices, chicken, ground beef, bacon, pork tenderloin, little bit of egg, butter, light cream, heavy whipping cream, coffee, salt, pepper, lots of water.
PLEASE READ: Please remember that it’s MY CHOICE to eat the way I want. If you think this is unhealthy, know I’m not as concerned with physical health. I’m more concerned with my mental health. I’m on a mission to feel better mentally… without cravings!!! I’m willing to test this so you don’t have to! But what works for me might not work for you. I’m not doing this to lose weight. I’m doing this because I’m convinced that I’m overly sensitive to carbs and that I must stay away from them if there is any chance of me feeling better. I’m eating from the animal kingdom only, like the complete opposite of vegan. I know this upsets many, but I promise I won’t eat your pets. You are free to follow my progress/failures and you can even disagree with what I do. Just remember that I will get the last word because it’s my blog, my channel, my life! That’s the new me talking! (I think I’m growing balls! Let me look… yes, I see one starting to grow!)

Happy Thursday!
First, I must tell you that I loved the video that I recorded yesterday! I put you on my dash so I could take you for a ride with me to Walgreens then on to Hannaford. You get to see my town… um, I mean city! We became a city maybe 2 years ago? Something like that . I love my city! If you’d like to see where I live, please watch!
Yesterday, I also got a few things done. Nothing major, but I did some behind the scenes work on my blogs, I went to two stores and got that video up, I did some sewing, more bead making and also did all my dishes. And I was able to keep calm during some family “excitement” (lol) which is a big step in the right direction for me. Never dreamed I could improve my depression and anxiety and ever my mood swings (aka insane rage) by removing all plant life from my diet.
No idea what I’ll feel like recording today. Maybe something crafty. Maybe a new fashion show! I really do need to make myself a few new shirts. And I’d like to attempt some leggings too!

NOTE:I get messages asking me why I post these types of recipes while I’m following a zero carb animal kingdom only food plan. My answer is because I’m following ZC, but I bet you’re not! Just because I eat a certain way does not mean I have to limit myself to sharing only meat recipes. I’m not the carb police! lol
1 box Betty Crocker SuperMoist white cake mix
1 can (12 oz) carbonated beverage of choice
*Darlene’s Tip:You can buy any brand of cake that you want. And you can add food coloring to match any holiday. If you want a certain flavor of soda but you don’t want the soda to alter the color, buy clear flavored soda!
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Heat oven to 350°F. Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups.
Step 2: In large bowl, beat dry cake mix and carbonated beverage with electric mixer on low speed 1 minute, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping side of bowl. Divide batter among cups.
Step 3: Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove to cooling rack to cool completely, about 1 hour. If desired, top with your favorite frosting.

Yesterday – Tuesday 12/20 – Day 34
I had my usual cup of coffee with hwc when I got up.
At 3:00pm, I ate almost everything you see above. I was in the mood for ground beef again, so I cooked a big patty that ended up falling apart lol. Then I added the last of my rotisserie chicken (time to take another one out of the freezer!) and various meaty leftovers from the past two days (listed below).
At 3:30pm, I had a cup of decafe with hwc.
At 7:30pm, I had a big old ground beef patty with bacon and 3 eggs. I ate the entire plateful of that delish concoction.
At 11:00pm, I picked on the little bit that was left of my meat mix. Time to cook a new batch! I also had a swig of cream.
Food that entered my mouth yesterday: ground beef, hot sausage, chicken, beef slices, beef liver, bacon, pork tenderloin, eggs, butter, light cream, heavy whipping cream, coffee, salt, pepper, lots of water.

Happy hump day everyone!
The sun is shining bright which is awesome for most, not for me. lol I just learned that I have to go out today to pick up incontinence pads for my mother. I have zero desire to go out! But I will do it. Think I’ll be going to Walgreens and not all the way to Walmart. And now I must place an order for more of her supplies. I hate when I forget to order!
And when I go to Walgreens, I might as well take you with me. Not sure about taking you in the store. I have done it before but it’s so hard to not get caught there. We’ll see!
Yesterday, I took you to the Dollar Tree parking lot and did a car vlog. Be sure you check it out to see what I bought! Also, in that video I asked for ideas for new series. Wow, I got so many fantastic ideas! I’ll be doing a video soon sharing all the ideas I got. Or you can read the comments under that video to see what others came up with. Add your ideas too!
And I’m loving my new “got it done” list. Yesterday I worked on the following: shaw’s blog, car vlog video, salted driveway, brought trash to road, knitting, sewing, beading, dishes, and a few more things! I feel so not lazy! lol

1 box Betty Crocker SuperMoist™ cake mix, (any flavor)
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
1 container Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy frosting
36 oz (from two 24-oz packages) vanilla or chocolate-flavored candy coating (almond bark)
decorations (sprinkles, frosting, coconut, chopped nuts, etc.)
*Darlene’s Tip:You can buy store brand cake mix and frosting! You could also use chocolate morsels for the coating, or even white morsels which you can tint with a drop of food coloring.
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Make and bake cake as directed on box for 13×9-inch pan. Cool 15 minutes.
Step 2: In large bowl, crumble warm cake; stir in frosting until well blended. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or until firm enough to shape.
Step 3: Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Shape into balls. (If mixture is too sticky, refrigerate until firm enough to shape.) Freeze 30 minutes.
Step 4: Line another cookie sheet with foil. In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave 12 oz candy coating uncovered on High 1 minute 30 seconds; stir. Continue microwaving and stirring in 15-second intervals until melted and smooth.
Step 5: Remove one-third of the balls from the freezer. Using 2 forks, dip and roll each ball in coating. Place on foil-covered cookie sheet. Decorate as desired. Refrigerate cake balls about 10 minutes or until coating is set. Melt remaining candy coating in 12-oz batches; dip remaining balls. Serve at room temperature. Store in airtight container.
