What I ate yesterday! I’m starting a new daily series to let you all follow along to see what I’m eating. I want to do zero carb for at least a week, maybe two. We’ll see how it goes. Then I will be adding carbs as I go to test my mental health. I will not be recording food videos daily, but I will sometimes. You can watch THIS VIDEO to learn why I’m doing this. I will be talking about this new way of life often on my Youtube channel, so please subscribe and you won’t miss a thing! ———————— Yesterday – Friday 11/18 – Day 2 Coffee with very little light cream in it. NO sugar or sweetener. Then I had an unusually early lunch (early for me, around 1:00pm) and ate some delish roast beef and also picked on this mixed meat concoction that I still had plenty of. I didn’t heat it up. Just ate everything cold. Didn’t eat too much at all. Maybe like a cup of meat and whatever little bits of egg were still in that meat mixture. For dinner, I sliced up some of the eye round roast that I bought during this shopping trip. I cooked that in a pan with butter. Then I tossed in more of my meat mix that I had for lunch (and there’s still more leftover) to heat it up this time and I ate until I was full. I still had some on my plate when I was done and put that back in the mix. I probably ate like 3 cups full, fat and all. For a snack later, I was not feeling hungry at all, like totally not at all, but I felt like picking out of pure habit, so I picked on more roast beef. After that, I felt uncomfortably full so I didn’t eat anything again for the rest of the night. Before bed, I felt like having a glass of milk, but I’m trying very, very hard to keep away from those carbs too. I bought light cream to drink knowing it has only 1 gram of carbs, like I show you in the tag along video, but I had no clue that was for only 1 tablespoon! I was thinking that a serving of cream was a cup, like milk!!! lol I guess they don’t expect anyone to drink cream by the cup. So, what I did was fill a tall glass with ice, added water, let that get nice and cold, then added maybe 3 or 4 tablespoons of cream to that. It was like I was drinking super rich milk. Loved it! What I consumed: beef (eye round roast and rump roast), ground beef, bacon, deli roast beef, egg, butter, cream, pepper for seasoning, coffee. I had maybe a total of 6 carbs, which I know is not zero, but I’m most likely going to continue making my creamy iced water before bed if I feel like it. And now I have heavy cream for my coffee which is zero carbs for a tablespoon, but there is a fraction of a carb per tablespoon and it can add up quick, so I’m trying to use as little as possible. Nothing else entered my mouth. Nothing. Not even a mint. Oh, tons of water. Can’t forget about my water! I woke up early today (9:15 which is way early for me) and I was NOT groggy so I was able to actually get up! Hallelujah! UPDATE: I forgot about the cheese! I put about 1/4 cup of shredded cheese on the meat that I heated up for dinner. I let that just melt on the top. So let’s add another gram of carbs for that. I did not keep a written list so I forgot about it. Now I’m keeping a list so I won’t forget. PLEASE READ: Please remember that it’s MY CHOICE to eat the way I want. If you think this is unhealthy, know I’m not as concerned with physical health. I’m more concerned with my mental health. I’m on a mission to feel better mentally… without cravings!!! I’m willing to test this so you don’t have to! But what works for me might not work for you. I’m not doing this to lose weight. I’m doing this because I’m convinced that I’m overly sensitive to carbs and that I must stay away from them if there is any chance of me feeling better. I’m eating from the animal kingdom, like the complete opposite of vegan. I know this upsets many, but I promise I won’t eat your pets. You are free to follow my progress/failures and you can even disagree with what I do. Just remember that I will get the last word because it’s my blog, my channel, my life! That’s the new me talking! Happy Saturday! I have lots of plans for today. First, I want to organize my freezer. All I have is my refrigerator freezer and it’s not big. And it’s filled. Must organize and make a list of what’s in there. Then I’d also like to do some cooking for even more freezing for my mother. And she will also get a list of what foods we have in there so she can pick and choose off the list like she’s in a restaurant or something. lol If I actually cook and freeze, there should be a freezing video later and maybe even an easy concoction showing how I prepare some of the food for freezing. Last night I uploaded two videos. I did a Tag Along with Me to Shaw’s and Walmart and I took you in both stores. Then I uploaded my Youtube Earnings for the first two weeks of November. How did I do? You must go see! Have a great Saturday! Darlene BE COOL -> Subscribe to my Youtube channel I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Then I will be adding carbs as I go to test my mental health. I will not be recording food videos daily, but I will sometimes. You can watch the video above to see what I ate yesterday. And you can watch THIS VIDEO to learn why I’m doing this. Yesterday – Thursday 11/17: I ate bacon, ground beef, beef rump roast (including the fat on the meat and the bacon grease), eggs, and roast beef for snacking. I also had maybe 1/2 cup of whole milk total but I’m buying heavy cream today for my coffee and will try to stay off whole milk for a bit because it has sugar/carbs. I really want to go carb free to start to see if it will help my depression and my headaches. If you watch my video, I did not end up eating all that I put on my plate. I stopped when I was full and put the rest back, maybe like 3/4 cup worth. Later that night, I picked on more of the meat/egg concoction (yes, I love it cold too) and I also had roast beef as a TV time snack. Then I ate roast beef again at maybe 1:00am. I drank plenty of water, but I’ve always done that. I’m happy to report that after going on a potato chip binge for about two weeks, and waking up every day with a massive headache that lasted throughout the day, I woke up with NO HEADACHE today! I feel one starting now, so I’m eating some meat then will head out to the store for my heavy cream. PLEASE READ: Please remember that it’s MY CHOICE to eat the way I want.
