Full disclosure.I went to Shaw’s tonight to take advantage of the General Mills deal (more on that later), but I stopped by my reduced sections and they were full!
The reduced section has lots of bags of different types of slaw for only 50¢ each. There were also bags of carrots for 50¢ to $1.00 per bag (I picked up 4 pounds of carrots for a total of $1). What else… oh, lettuce. Lots of bags of various types of lettuce for $1 each.
And guess what else there was? Naked Juice! If you read my previous post, you will see that I mentioned that it just might show up in reduced, and sure enough, it did! But, it was reduced to $1.50, so with the $1 off coupon it would be 50¢. Still a great deal for that juice (the reg price is over $3 which is CRAZY!). You might still be able to print the Naked Juice coupon! The only flavor they had was orange mango. I just bought 3 half gallons of juice (and when I say bought, I mean I got them free), so I didn’t get any Naked Juice. I left it all there for you!
Here are two pics of the refrigerated reduced produce.

As for reduced deli, that was full too! They had lots of chicken, meat ends, bacon, and so much more. Here are just a few of the brand names in case you have some coupons: Apetina, Healthy Ones, Stella, Oscar Mayer, Black Forest, Bel Gioioso, Tribe, Kayem, Buitoni. And here are a couple of pics of that section. There were a lot of $3 off stickies!

Can you believe after being in Shaw’s for almost 3 hours, I never made it to reduced dairy? And that’s my favorite section! Oh well, there’s always tomorrow.

I finally joined the Home Depot Garden Club, not so much because I want gardening advice, but because I want coupons! And I just got my email and sure enough, it says that I will indeed get coupons via email!
If you join, and if you are at all interested in gardening in addition to the coupons, you will get gardening advice and tips for your region! I hope they send me winter gardening ideas… even if it’s just growing a peanut plant indoors or something.
Join the Home Depot Garden Club with me! Just click either image in this post. Then you will need to click the “Join the Garden Club” image on the top of that page.

The 2-packs of Reach toothbrushes are on sale at CVS for $3.99 per pack. With the coupon and Extra Bucks, you get an even deal!
Buy (1) 2-pk Reach Toothbrush for $3.99
Use (1) $2/1 Reach Toothbrush – scroll down and make sure you allow the pop ups.
Pay $1.99 – use previous Extra Bucks to pay this down if you have them!
Get $2 Extra Bucks for the next time!
You are allowed to do this deal TWICE on one CVS card and get Extra Bucks TWICE!! You can either do both transactions at the same time (good option if you have $4.00 previous Extra Bucks to use up) or you can do one transaction then use the $2 Extra Bucks to pay off the second transaction. Then you’ll still get $2 back for something else.
If this confuses you, please ask questions! It can be tricky learning the CVS ropes!

Wow! I took a walk around the Sanford Shaw’s Sunday night and the reduced dairy section was full of all kinds of goodies! If you are reading this on Monday morning, a lot of that stuff might still be there!
Milk: They had about 10 gallons of Oakhurst milk (low fat and fat free) priced at $3.49 each. That’s kind of high for reduced (I got Hood on this shopping trip for $1.50 and paid 50¢ each after coupons), but if you need milk, it’s better than full price! Best by date was Oct 5. Remember, you can freeze milk!
Juice: They had lots of 1/2 gallons of juice, all priced at only $1 each! They had maybe five Simply Grapefruit, six Dole Tangerine, four Trop 50 Tropicana Pomegranate/Blueberry, four or five Florida Naturals, and one Minute Maid. If you printed the coupons for $1/1 any Simply Orange (no longer available), you can use that on the Simply Grapefruit and get it for FREE (like I did :O). And if you have the $1/2 Tropicana from the insert (sorry, can’t find which insert… argh!), you can get 2 of the Tropicana juices for a buck, or make it part of the dollar doubler deal and get those for FREE too (like I did :O).
Yogurt: They had maybe six big 17.6 ounce tubs of Fage Greek Yogurt for only $1 each. Maybe 10 individual Stonyfield yogurts for 40¢ each (get Stonyfield coupons here, there is a $.50/3 which will double so you’ll get 3 for only 20¢ total), and a stack of Yoplait 4-packs for $1 each (there is a $.75/2 coupon here, when it doubles you get (2) 4-packs for 50¢ total).
Phew! Now, do you see why I tell you to print dairy coupons? You never know what you will find in the reduced dairy section! Other good coupons to print are any of the Pillsbury biscuits, pie crusts or cookie dough. I get those FREE with coupons in the reduced dairy section. You might want to print some to carry around with you.

Shaw’s has a sale on certain General Mills items where if you buy 5, you will get them for $1.88 each.
If you have the right coupons, you can get some really cheap cereal! I bought 5 boxes tonight for only 18¢ each. That’s 5 boxes for only 90¢ total!
I already printed my coupons so I can’t tell if there are any left. Look on the sites below for coupons for Total, Kix, Chex, Cookie Crisp, Trix or Cinnamon Toast Crunch that are either $.85/1 or $.75/1 (click on the food tab to make them easier to find). Even if you can only find $.50/1, that is still a good deal. Remember, anything under $1 will double.

boxtops4education.com
You will need 5 coupons total, so you may need to use 2 computers if there is not enough variety.
Buy 5 boxes of cereal. Make sure you pick cereals that are part of the GM deal (they are marked) so when you buy 5, you will get them for $1.88 each (must have your Shaw’s card).
Use 5 coupons. Make sure at least one coupon is for a different cereal or a different value because only 4 like coupons will double. After the coupons double…
You will get an awesome deal!
There are many ways to do this deal, but I bought 4 boxes of Kix and used (4) $.85/1 Kix and 1 box of Total and used (1) $.85/1 Total and after the coupons doubled I got them for only 18¢ each! That is stockpile price. I’m going back for more tomorrow with my $.75/1 coupons. That will make them 38¢ a box… still awesome!
This deal runs through Thursday, October 6. But don’t delay, they can sell out!
If you have questions, you are always welcome to email me at dzines@metrocast.net. I’d be happy to hear from you! And please subscribe to my blog so you never miss out on any deals!

I just got back from Shaw’s and I want to report that the Non Refrigerated Reduced Produce has a lot of goodies on the racks!
I saw lots of great looking potatoes for only 29¢ per pound! They are in packs that weigh about 2 pounds each. They are as fresh as can be! You could pick up 5 pounds of potatoes for only $1.45!
They also had a bunch of whole butternut squash for only 39¢ per pound, apples for 59¢ per pound and bananas for 39¢ per pound. The bananas are ripe, but not overly ripe. They’d be great for banana bread. Or peel them and freeze them for smoothies or for baking at a later date! As for the apples, be fussy! Check them over. I saw a couple of bruises but nothing major. Again, they’d be great for baking.
There was a bunch of other stuff too. They had two tall racks filled with goodies! That section is now my favorite reduced section!
Reduced Dairy is still empty :O(

I popped in to the Dollar Tree in Sanford last night and they have a nice big display of WOW! Shammy clothes for only a dollar! They have two sizes… a 2 pack of the thinner, smaller kitchen cloths, and a single pack of the thicker, larger cloth. My vote? The thick one!
If you’ve never used a WOW! Shammy before, here is your chance! We’ve been using them in this house for years! I swear, you can soak up a bucket of water with one cloth (okay, that’s an exaggeration, but they do soak up a lot!).
Save a bundle of money by not using paper towels to clean up spills! Use a WOW! Shammy instead! And, they last a very, very long time. Years. Literally years.
You can also use the WOW! Shammy to dry your car, dry off your pet, dry off your own hair, wipe your dishes dry, suck a big spill out of a carpet, wash your windows, whatever! You can even cut them to make the best dishcloth or wash cloth ever!
Always use these cloths damp. Wet them, wring them out then watch them do their magic! You can toss them in the washer, too. It says not to put them in the dryer, but we always do. It’s just best to not use fabric softener or they don’t absorb as well.
So, head on over to the Dollar Tree in Sanford and pick up some WOW! Shammy clothes for only a dollar! They are on display near the front of the store. Makes a great stocking stuffer or gift basket item!
